I am 34, so the laws of under age drinking do not apply to me.  However, I have kept my same stance on this ever since I was 16.  If you are trusted with a weapon to go out and kill someone, and in turn be killed at the age of 18… it is utter hypocricy to say that they are not resp. enough to have a beer.

Resp. enough to die for their country, but not resp. to have a drink?

When I was in Rotc it part of what I had to do was train others.  Using props was nice, and highly encouraged.  So I when I went home I got my 40k minatures and scenery to help describe how I wanted my Op Order done.  Everyone else would had these old plastic green army men, small boxes for terrain…. stuff like that.  I bust out my Imperial Guard fully painted minatures, with terrain and vehicles to put on a green background.  The Captain told me, “ok, now lets see what General Rommel here has to say”.

Every one was impressed, I left out the part that I am a geek who paints little men lol.

Yes, I was stuck at good old Fort Benning - Home of the Infantry and also, airborne, rangers, and yes, Officer Candidate School…blech!  hehe.  14 weeks of gruelling activities and what-not.Â

An idea I came up with would be an expansion on the hybrid car.  I am no mechanic, but this seems feasable to me.

When the engine gets hot the radiator cools it down, which in turn is cooled down from by a fan.  Wasted heat energy right?  Couldn’t you make it to where this incredibly hot water goes through a conducter to produce more electricity rather than simply being wasted?

It makes sense to me, but like I said, I know very little about cars.

The second stripper is now recanting her story that she “didn’t think that she was raped”.  Apparently she was on parole and screwed it up.  She called a PR firm to work with her to spin the hell out of this whole thing.  This is getting more and more sickening by the momment.

Being local… here is the scoop…

#1:  There is a medical exame that shows DEFINITIVE signs of rape that occured shortly after the alleged incident (strongest evidence the DA has).
#2:  In slightly more than 3/4 of all rape cases, there is NO DNA evidence, so the lack of it in this case is not earth shattering.
#3:  The e-mail sent by the lacrosse player shortly after the alleged incident is rather damning.

There are also some issues on the accusers side, like the lack of total corroboration by the girl that accompanied her, the accuser’s time line being off (that is being dismissed due to stress).  And now also the evidence that ONE of the indicted may not have been there (bit that has holes… there is evidence of his STUFF not being there, but nothign that declares HE was not there… dorm card keys often get loaned out, etc.)

Anyway, that is the short version from the Triangle here in NC.

Amazing how mush press this case is getting when the running down of 9 UNC CHapel Hill students in The Pit by an Islamic Terrorist a few weeks before this was nearly burried in the media.

1. The “signs” were not shortly after, the pictures they have show that she came to the party with those “signs”.
2. She says this was a violent gang rape in which she was sodomized and beaten.  There is no way that there would be no DNA.  In fact, the DA told the lacrose team that if the DNA came back negative it would exonorate them and the case would be thrown out.
3. Oh, I’m sorry.  The fact that this insane Beep has lied and tried to ruin these 2 kids lives… they should just smile and nod saying *that’s ok honey".  If someone did this to me I would have to be sedated so as not to kill her.

Her story makes no sense at all.  The picture of the guy at the ATM exonarates him.  She said she was 100% sure on him, and the cab driver backs up the story, along with a host of reciepts.   The fact that the 2 richest kids on the team are the ones accused.  The fact that the only time she was away from the crowd to be “gang raped” she did her nails and one of her “attackers” was not even there.

Prison, pure and simple.  Back to back sentences that would have been dished out to the 2 real victems in this.  And since she played the race card it should be agravated charges for it being a hate crime.

The fact this is going to trial is disgusting.  It makes me wonder how many men are in jail because of insane women who accused them of rape.  If they can prosecute these 2 with next to no evidence than they can do it to anyone (esp people who don’t have the $ these 2 have).

One other thing about this whole travesty of justice.  Why is it open season on these guy’s background, but not a word can be said about her?  Not even her name?  The double standard with this kind of thing is ridiculous.

If a woman is raped nothing in her history can be brought up.  If she is into S&M, it doesn’t matter.
BUT if the man is into S&M I am sure they will find a way to get that into court.

Hey switch, you are worried about the terrorist trial going on right now (that I believe will never effect any of us in any meaningful way.)  How about this?  Your bedroom is an open book to the government and the public if you are ACCUSED of rape.  You don’t need any evidence.  It doesn’t even have to be true.  Women apparently have the right to destroy your life any time they feel like it.  Further, because what you get into is a bit taboo, they would probably convict you using your lifestyle as motive.

This has gotten even BETTER!  The pictures they took of this lying BEEP are time marked.  They have a picture of her right before she went into the bathroom, and one right after (this is when she said she was raped).  After getting out of the batroom she keeps doing her dance.  Now, as stupid as that is it is not even the worst part.  The pictures show that when she came out of the bathroom she had fingernail polish on… she didn’t have it on when she went in!

Good time to do your nails isn’t it?  While being sodomized and gang raped?  She needs to go to PRISON!

The district attorney needs to be gotten rid of, and heavily fined for letting this go so far just to help his political career.

The real sickening thing is the reaction from the black community there.  They should be ashamed of themselves.  Anyone who sides with this woman, reguardless of skin color is a RACIST!  I am not a racist, but when I saw the “city hall” meeting I wanted to vommit from all of the disgusting BS going on there.  Good old Jessee Jackson has already said he is going to pay for this woman’s education REGUARDLESS of the outcome, or if what she is saying is true.  There is a special place in hell for the reverand I think.

Could you imagine what would be going on right now if 2 black men were accused of rape by a white woman with the same exact evidence in this case?  This is sick.

Well, mine is more descriptive… but of who I was about 5 years ago rather than now.

5 years ago I lived a couple of miles from the South Carolina border in NC.  Also, for a number of years I was into BDSM (met my wife that way TYVM) and in the lifestyle I was a “switch” meaning I would engage in BDSM & D/s activities as both a Dominant and as a submissive (sometimes it is nice to be flogged, other times nice to do the flogging).

Ok, good points… but still did not answer my question.

I made a few bucks (still do with aluminum in TN) when i was a kid.  Pocket change, I know.  But mass scale is going to generate a lot of $.  Northwest suburbs of Chicago (where I grew up, and my parents live) it is MANDATORY that you recycle.  I don’t know if it is enforced (kind of doubt it, but it is still mandatory).  Its easy to do, not a big inconvience.  That is not my issue.  My issue is that I know $ is being made off of this, and if it is going to be done through the state, than the state should tell us where the $ goes.

It generates jobs, fair enough.  But the guy I gave my cans to when I was a kid had a job doing this… but I still got $30 when I turned in my cans.  Him being paid to work aside, they could still gave me $.

You can argue (and it would be a good argument) that making it easier (and mandatory) for people to recycle will increase the scale of bussiness thus creating more jobs/revenue.  That’s a good thing, but I still see some jerk off running this company making a killing off of the entire thing.  If they have to pay a tax (or in some other way pay the government) for us to give him our garbage that would be great.

Micro micro MICRO economics… My 30 bucks in cans… lets say 1/2 the profit I got he has to spend for expenses to run his company.  That’s $15 left.  Lets even say he wants 1/2 of that.  That is 7.50 left.  The government should get that, and tell us where that extra revenue is going as far as taxes are concerned.
