Has any one ever altered their map? I have a good link to change your map to make it more ‘‘stratigically interesting’’
www.members.aol.com/wergames/map.htm
I know the guy who runs the site personally(he lives in my town) so if you have any questions post them and i will ask him.
im not complaining but have you noticed that alot of the country specific pieces aren’t accurally historically accurate, sure all those tanks and planes, and ships are real but not in the right place.
The panther wasnt made until 1943, and the Stuka was a dive bmb not a fighter. And for the US, wheres the mustang or cosair?!?! the p-38 was a lightning bmb, and was probaly to slow and big to be a fighter. The UK tank was the crumwell or churchill wasnt it? not a sherman, it was american. The americans also used big 155mm artillery i think.
have any thoughts?
I think one inf unit is one division, 15-25,000 men. im not sure about fgtrs, arm, or bmb, but the battle ships and carriers couldnt be single because UK had 15 battleships in the beginning of the war, US had over a hundred carriers in 1945! And in 1942 germany had almost 350 u-boats
You could lower the price and but then they only last one turn?
great tech ideas UK!

Sounds good, but what do you mean when the bmb drops 4 ipc? Is this the ‘‘cost’’ for the supplies being dropped?
Cut throat is one of the best house rules i think, it always adds to some interesting games, US and germany dont well work together,
I find this better than Diplomacy, diplomacy was always like work.
one game was like this
1st couple of turns: Everyone took out Russia
then: US&Japan against GB, Germany had a ‘‘non-aggresion pact’’ with everyone and had a HUGE army built up
eventually the US invaded japan but he had a huge stack of inf, so i hardly put a dent in him (he had a couple of red chips I did’nt see in the stack) but i manged to destroy 6 long range bomb. he stationed in mexico
There is a good house rule for kamikazi’s, i can post it if any one needs
I finally got around to playing the original A&A and tired the reverse order. Its not that bad, i thought it worked pretty well, the axis are in a better position, except that britan can wipe out the german fleet before germany can even use its. its very interesting, needs some work but i recommend everyone to try it
I agree with GI, it needs some work but its still better than the original
well kamikazi’s were hardly ever succussful so there has to be some realism in its effectiveness
Your right Guerrilla Guy, but they cant shoot out of the transport
sorry about reposting that one my comp wnet nuts for a sec
Actually Joshost, if Russia did not move their factories they would of been wiped out, when russia moved its factores to the Urals, far from enemy forces, it started pumping out tens of thousands of tanks and aircraft.
So yes buildings can move.
I have played with the moving of russian ICs, i use it every time, it I allow unlimited production in any of the russian territorys

i have to agree with mistabiggs, the US would be to powerful, plus they are last because of the fact they had to completely rearm them selves.
it takes one turn for a transport to load, then move, then unload. the units you are transporting can not move before or after being transported
