Im going to plan for that following Saturday after AAE40’s release to be declared an Axis&Allies day for my group and game will begin at 10am.  Game play may not finish until the following day early evening with a few short break in between!

My vote goes for a North Africa campaign game.

So for clarification, I understand being able to put newly purchased planes on a newly purchased carrior or existing carrier that you own, but can you place existing planes that were not purchased on a newly purchased carrier as you place it on the game board in the Mobilize New Units phase?

We have been playing that it is the original 10 IPC’s that the U.S. starts with.  I don’t remember where I read it at, but I believe that is the rule, since this question came up back when we first started playing when the game came out in December.

Well I’m 47 and my wife is 45 and we have been playing Axis&Allies for almost 18 years now since my brother introduced it to us.  Except for the time that Everquest took over our lives :-) we have played regularly.  I got my sister and her husband hooked on AA50 but now we mainly play AAP40.  And yes we cant wait for AAE40 along with the new FMG pieces.

Excellent looking table so far, now I am inspired to try something similiar.  Looking forward to seeing the completed table in action.

Im an avid reader to these boards but dont usually make any posts.  But I have gotten my entire family hooked on the Axis and Allies games series and these new charts will help them exceedingly.

We play with four of us every Friday night and it works out well.  We to have 1 player play Anzac and China and it works out well.  Plus we rotate each Friday so every one gets a chance at playing the different country’s.  I did that because we played AA50 so much that everyone played the same country each week it started to become the same game play each week.  Rotating the countries now creates different game play each week. 
    On a side note my wife beat me for the first time this past week playing the Allies.  Ive been hearing about it all week now!
