Very nice move Jim… gotta admit i had a slightly different startup and i thought it was very standard… fortunely not, 1 question/observation
Sz111 the 2 subs, are they strictly neccesary? maybe 1 of them could serve better in the Sz 112 combat, both for casulties in the combat, but certainly in the possible UK counter attack?i know that the highest chance of UK survival suggest a complete withdrawall of all forces, but if USA doesnt go 100% KJF, then i’d say an UK counterattack in 112 is an option…

I am very interested, voted for 2v2 A3, but iam ok with 1v1 A3.
havent played by forum, but by skype/Abatllemap, so only got 1 question, how to roll the dice? on forum? or just a random generator and copy paste?
Any ideas on a time limit, if theres to be one? game and tournament wise?P.s. If any1 wants to play just a regular game (A2 or try some A3) i am very interested, Pm me here or add me to skype (mark_newton)

on G3 i attempt to invade UK by Sz110, apart from transports i have 1 sub and 1 carrier, due to the fact UK can scramble 3 ftr into that SZ I ofcourse want to send some aircraft in order to protect my fleet,.
now we are not sure in which order things occur, shall I as Germany select which planes goes to sz110 or Uk, then he choose if he wants to scramble or not, then how many he wants to scramble? OR does he select to scramble or not, then Ger selects which planes goes where and then he selects how many aircrafts goes scrambling??

Yeah Jim010, I came to a similiar conclusion my self, yes sealion is worth it IF:
A) London is not properly defended
B) You didnt loose to much G1 and G2 (navy, air and land)However, is it still worth to attempt a Sealion, if nothing else thne just for appearence sake?
I mean, a UK player that knows he can defend London, and a german player not even attempting, sounds like a n early, strong and offensive UK player…
I dont think 10+ transports are the best way to attack russia, but certainly 3-6 transports + naval superiority cant hurt in a Barbarossa campaign…maybe forgo the carrier in G1 for 1 additional transporter+ 1 destroyer in order to scare UK, since SZ112 does have scrambling inorder to protect the navy…

so in the same scenario, with a sub as defender, instead of the transporter (attacking with a destroyer) would the attacker still be allowed to sail through with other ships (combat move)?

Atleast for starters… i have played some 20+ Europe games with alpha 2, but no pacific, and as my first game with Abattlemap, skype and forum/diceroller i wanted to keep it simple and safe Global for another time, but i definetly want to do a global, just not the first one… are you up for a game ghr2?

UK cannot build more than 10 units young padawan.
Ah apologies for not typing it clearer, I did not mean a UK2 production of 13 inf, I meant a possible force at end of UK1 of minimum 13inf, depending of production choice in UK1(fx 5 inf 1art 1ftr). Thus “freeing” UK2 purchase to either harrass Germany or buff London…
I had edited the original post a few times before making it final, and failed to read it properly through, it is more of a mix of 2 different UK purchases and thus strategies…

You might be right…
never really tried sealion, for various reasons… but g3 does make more sense…
however, uk2 they have some 6+ planes and should they feel threatened, they can go all inf uk2 making it some 13 inf…
I guess i need to do some number crunching. -

I have recently played a dozen AA1940E games, mainly as axis, vs even or near even skilled opponents,
and at the beggining of every game, i always felt tempted to do a sealion, (start buy usually 1 carrier, 2 trans or 2 trans, 2subs +1 art) maybe mixing with a destroyer for a new approach.UK first buy usually 3 inf +2 ftr…
and usually i dont see how i can make an acceptable sealion G2 or G3… so i usually go for russia instead, however i always try to kill uk navy and convoy disrupt him…
The way i see it, even going 100% buy for sealion G2, its barely even odds, let alone in my favour…
anyone got a good idea or hint to make an effective sealion for alpha 2?
