Which one do you want?

is there a chance someone could do a FFA for the 270 bc game?

not revisiting the list nearly as much as I haven’t added in HBG’s UK set and will have to double check because I believe the French got some units since my last update. But yes I find it useful.

I had not entered the 2nd Japan set or the UK set HBG released, those have been added. and the going nuclear set HBG just released.

IM thinking Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Possible others

Another idea is if you could make up a small set of cards, each one with a different country on it. You wouldn’t have to give each player the first set of cards, just deal out the one set that each player keeps face down.
Then it’s like you said, if you get your own card, you can attack anyone you want. If you get another country, then you are at war with just that country and which ever other country got your card.
This has interesting possibilities.

It is normal cardboard like all proper game maps, but this is 5 x 4 foot map. Don’t draw on it, just buy HBG rail markers

though the EotH destroyer is my favorite of the three, though it is just a bit too big.  I’m not sure what you’re talking about in terms of an EotH "cruiser."  If you mean by this the destroyer, I can’t agree that it makes a good heavy cruiser; maybe light cruiser, but definitely not a heavy cruiser.  (But perhaps there’s some other EotH set that I’ve never heard of…)

Sorry, I meant the EotH destroyer.  I called it a cruiser because that’s how I tend to use it because, as you mention, it’s rather big relative to the A&A destroyers.

So for anyone who’s played E&W, what did you like about the game?

For me, what it comes down to is managing equipment. Like, it’s very much an IPM-style game, so keeping your tanks and aircraft safe while at the same time exerting force as effectively as possible, is the whole puzzle of E&W. The early attacks made by the Soviets are usually about reducing the number of front lines they have to fight on, but also destroying NATO’s equipment (particularly transports, but also armor and fighters.)

have you played it yet? was it any good?

I always mix my pieces for the games together. I just got BotB and noticed the chips don’t match up.

Shotest games I have played, are G1’s where the player quits after attrocious dice.

I have a tech chart for Germany, Japan, USSR, Italy, UK, ANZAC, USA. China gets no tech love 'cuz China gets no IC love. All I’m missing is the French.
