      I kind of agree with you but it’s not the case Wildcats and Hellcats landed on Henderson Field during the Battle of Guadalcanal

      Has anyone else put in thought into a Mechanized AA Gun? I know there’s no piece for it but it’s a thought.

    • RE: Eastern Front Broken - $5 German tanks too powerful, income disparity a problem

      @Quintus:

      Russia can supplement its income by taking iran, iraq, and mogolia. Russia should also have taken finland, and norway depending on how much pressure germany put up north. Britian can send planes into leningrad  aswell, and bomb the German factories. Keep up the bombing and you should eventually even out the income that germany can spend against russia. Italy will need Greece and Yugoslavia to try to win africa, so if germany takes them, the allies will probably win africa with ease. This allows troops to travel through the south as well. Also once the the german navy and italian navy is down The allies can push pressure in many places. It may seem futile at first but this can take lots of pressure off of russia.

      I agree something has to change. Russia historical defeated Germany without taking Iran, Iraq, Mongolia, Finland, or Norway. Let alone all 5. Also Russia historical beat Germany when Germany not Italy took Greece and Yugoslavia. If Russia is unable to defend herself in a way that is historical accurate then I believe there is a problem. It’s the same thing as in Global with Russians taking off for Africa for the income. No one is a fan of seeing it because it just flat didn’t happen. Also and winning strategy in a game of half this complexity should NEVER EVER be just buy this one unit and attack. $5 Germany tanks have been tried before and it didn’t work well in revised and well it still doesn’t work.

      I haven’t gotten any of the divisional markers yet. It looks like in Island Warfare that there will be some rules for them. I’ll take a 2nd look at getting them after I see what they do with divisional level troops

      @John:

      Thanks Yavid! I like that site, but it has only a fraction of the rules. HBG has made a ton of markers that have no rules since the last update and that is why I asked if they were going to do a rules update., but appreciate you showing me it. :-)

      Well I hope that site helps with atleast some of the pieces and markers.

      Check out this site: http://www.wargamereport.com/

      They have rules for all the HBG stuff. I think it’s a site from one of the playtesters.

    • RE: Wizard of the coast is sending out additional playing pieces

      I made sure not to tell them what I’m short in, just that isn’t enough to play and enjoy the game. Basically it was the same email on the first or second page of the tread but leaving out the list of units and I changed the last sentence to remove the reference to the upcoming list.

      I asked for an armoured train with a frickin’ laser beam on the front.

      Am I being unrealistic?

      better make it a shark with a laser beam

      @Imperious:

      Giving easy money to US player just imbalances the game. I would replace an existing NO that is also easy to keep.

      Sounds fair to me.

      I’ve thought about adding a Naval Base to Panama and adding an American NO +5 IPCs if the naval base was undamaged at the start of the US turn. Thoughts anyone?

    • RE: Pick Your NFL QB

      yeah I know the tuck rule being a bad rule was the issue. The rule is so bad that Brady was “targeting” his feet with a pass and it was still considered a forward pass. That stupid rule was applied correctly but shouldn’t have been the rule in the first place. There’s severely NFL rules that make little to no sense. Tuck Rule being one of them

      @hkytown1:

      Couldn’t agree more Yavid.

      Random question here: if the ‘tuck rule’ play it was considered a forward pass and not a fumble. That was the ruling. Who was Brady’s intended receiver? I’ve seen the play 100 times and from what I can tell he was targeting his left foot with that pass. The nose of the football was pointing at his left foot when Woodson hit him and he lost control of the ball. If that’s the case where’s the intentional grounding penalty?

      I’m so looking forward to Tom Brady retiring.

      LoL I do wonder how Belichek would fair without the talent of Brady?

      That’s why I’m looking forward to him retiring. Remember how good the Browns were under Belichek? How about the Patriots with Bledsow? The answer is of course not very

      I go with Montana and I don’t think twice about it. He didn’t have all those weapons in '81 when he beat Dallas, he didn’t have all those weapons at Notre Dame and He didn’t all all those weapons in Kansas City but he still got the job done.

      @Gargantua:

      You know what could be considered the WORST of the worst?

      OPERATION PAPERCLIP.

      Where scientists, in particular, Japanase Scientists ,who had mountains of data gathered on thousands of human experiments (chemical/biological weapon research), traded the data they gathered FOR THEIR FREEDOM.  Spending the rest of their lives in comfort.

      Just saying…

      +1
