Hey there,

I worked with a friend to created and release the warchest apps some time ago. We went down the same road you did but had to scale back the project as no one was interested in supporting the app and there was not enough interest in the concept to merit the hundreds of hours we put into it.

Not saying there isn’t an opportunity but it seems very few people that would actually use the app are playing AA.

One suggestions is to focus on Ios. We had thousands of downloads compared to less then 30 on Android.

Hey All!

Glad to hear you like the map! I just wanted to give a proper shout out to Imperious for the original. I did use the map and modified it a bit along with adding the side panels for rules and tech tracking.

I hope I didn’t offend anyone just thought this forum was a sharing space since essentially we all are using materials produced by Axis and Allies any way.

Please know that I would never try to sell the materials I produce and do not take full credit for this map.

I built a table that had a frame for my global map but wanted to be able to use it for other purposes. I’m working on a D-Day map now and will follow with version of Guadalcanal.

After building a custom table for my global 40 setup I was looking for other maps to use on the table.

Surprisingly I found there aren’t really any available in this size so I decided to spend a bit of time creating them from some of the great resources available.

Hi Everyone,

I’ve been playing with the idea of creating a map in the same format of Global 40 that allows players to play from WW1 through to WW2.

I really enjoying playing 1914 and 1940 global but would love to have 1 board I could play both on. I have a few ideas already I’m working on, such as having technology rewards for implementing an armistice and breaking one.

I’m a big fan of the simpler maps and would design want to design something that wouldn’t over complicate the core game.

What are your thoughts?

We just released our new version of the popular IPC Bank app! Its now called Axis and Allies Warchest.

We’ve added a number of new features and the objectives!

It took almost 6 months to rebuild this app and we are looking to start producing apps for other AA games.

The purchases are optional for either the US or UK. All options rolled are worth more than 20 IPC so there is a incentive.
The fleet doesn’t get placed on the board until the end. This way the Axis have no idea what is coming.

It’s worked pretty good for us but might not be for all players.

Hi All,

I wanted to add a way that the allies could launch a D-Day attack with out the Axis players knowing their true intentions. I came up with a simple add-on that the US and British Europe players can use.

For the German’s we also made it a rule that each round from 1941 to 1944 they can place one bunker piece on any 1 Atlantic coast segment (Norway, Denmark, Holland, Normandy & Spain if they have it). We simply used the bunker pieces from AA D-Day. Each piece has 4 hit points (same as 2 Battleships). No attack but increases the attack of all units in the same segment by 1.

We have played a few times now with this and find it pretty fun.
