@WindowWasher Good day. Japan needs the income from the DEI and need to keep India on the defensive, not expanding. I agree with Awk others here: Oz can wait. Make Japan a monster first.
I have played close to 100 1940 games and don’t think anyone has tried to take Sydney from me early on.
Try it, but I don’t think it would work against most players here.

RE: Poll.Russia wants to leave Baltic Sea
@ampdrive don’t let them out. They die there , when you can bothered to take them out . Why let them roam free and possibly join the British, like the Russian Sub always does in other A&A variants?

RE: 1914 NML TEAM GAME
@Private-Panic Really? I thought it was part of your cunning plan.

RE: On this day during W.W. 2
@captainwalker I knew about the Romanian/Hungarian animosity from playing an 80s Hex led counter game: Barbarossa. You could never stack those two German allies, because of it. I have a few Osprey books on those two nations, as I always found interesting the units that served alongside the Wehrmacht.
They really were fighting with outdated equipment, so were always an easier target for the Russians. -

RE: World Tour 2020
@djensen Private Panic, Credulous and I are within 2-3 hours of each other. I am in the Midlands and they are North of me. I am sure we would all do our best to congregate closer to London, if that were easier for you. There are a few members on the South coast too. (Lozmoid and Corporal Clegg are two .)
Lovely idea you have. Hope it come to fruition. -
RE: NML 1914 - 3 Yanks (Entente) vs 2 Brits (CPs) - Game 4

RE: On this day during W.W. 2
@barnee it is. I checked its operational history though and thought it was first used in late 42 at Leningrad. I don’t think the photo can be from the Demyansk encirclement.

RE: NML 1914 - 3 Yanks (Entente) vs 2 Brits (CPs) - Game 4
@Private-Panic what sort of player allows the weak and vacillating Russians to break through? The Eastern Front is a solidly defensive front.
Can’t blame me.
I am off to fry some lambs’ brains and to smoke some perfumed incense. -

@captainwalker Thanks. A story, I am sure, many of us grew up learning and fascinating us.

RE: Winter 2019/20 Battle of Britain - 12th January 2020
@barnee one day you might be unlucky enough to meet PP and you will understand how hard it is to be nice to him. He is a monster! (Except in his gaming, when he is a lamb.)

RE: Witt and Djensen play Anniversary 42
@djensen47 Those two Techs, rolled in the first two turns, have broken this game. I can’t hide anywhere on the map.
