@SuperbattleshipYamato I really doubt that the Frencj could field 100 Divisions in 1939.
I would accept the lower figure of 71 as correct.
That said , they really should have pushed into Western Germany, whilst the majority of Germany’s forces were in the East.
Counting and researching Divisions: Great way to spend your free time!

@captainwalker thanks for that . Just read about the I-19. Was a Remarkable feat. Wonder if the three ships were too close to each other .

Rome and Moscow in the same turn: yea! Great play all game, Ron. You and Seb are running wild, while I fiddle in Berlin. What are allies for!

@SuperbattleshipYamato the Germans threw in every unit they could find. Was a perfect reaction , typifying German resilience and faith in their abilities.
The Allies were unlucky in many ways with the bad weather and , in the case of the 1st Para, hampered by the choice of faraway drop zones. -

@karl7 very nice move . I didn’t see that can opening opportunity at all.
My first reaction was to dump all over your front line stack and win with a plus 100 TUV.
But I have so many capitals , that I risk losing one of them , then my income.
Need to ponder this one more than usual, therefore.
Well done, again, on a good move. -

Thank you both for understanding. Will try to remember to post before Combat next time .
And will look again at my last go when it is my turn again . I had simply had enough of trying and worrying about it . It just wasn’t worth the hassle and potential bad head . Sorry. -

Thanks for the game guys. I will play again.
Building Germany’s fleet and seeing it stymy the RN is the happiest thing I took from this game.
All credit to Ron and Seb for their vision. -

@elrood glad to see that you have discovered that there are other reactions to a situation other than complaining like a girl.

@aequitas-et-veritas it is a very Good game . We played the Sword scenario and Raffy (U.K. 3rd Division) defeated the elements of the poor 716th Static Division. My Panzer unit (from thr 21st) did take on two Armoured Battalions (he had 3) , but was unable to eliminate either , before all Inf positions were overrun and victory was declared .
I am sure some of you already own this , but I can highly recommend it. -

@elrood you can shut up. If it wasn’t for Rom pulling out all the stops to save your girly arse, your capital would have been occupied long ago by nasty Germans, eating up all your tarts and having some food too!
