I agree with you about japan. I lose more games because Japan sputters out than because germany fails

I find japan can do one thing, but they need to win on two fronts to win the game

Post the file anyway, please.  And of course it went bad, you had about an 11% chance of winning per the battle calculator.  There was no rush to attack.  Germany isn’t threatening Russia very much, and I’m still a long way away from enough victory cities.  losing Hawaii isn’t the game over scenario you’re making it out to be.  WAY to early to concede

i think the bad luck for Japan didn’t help either.  I’ve won with this strategy in the Pacific.  The US gets so distracted by the UK loss, that they don’t spend much in the Pacific.  But, without Japan threatening and the loss of the German navy, it was over.
