    • RE: Portable Piece Storage Tips?

      @Nowhere:

      Amazon sells flight stands perfectly suited for A&A as well…
      https://www.amazon.com/Acrylic-Flight-Stands-Circle-Clear/dp/B01GW5I8XC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1511359750&sr=8-4&keywords=flight+stands

      If you are going to go that route, litko is way cheaper and a lot more customizable.

      @GeneralHandGrenade:

      You can see what I mean with the lids in the comparison picture. Both containers are the same size but the one with the better lid takes up half as much space. The other pic is the large size with plenty of room. On the lid is a setup card, Grasshopper’s National Objective cards, and some cash.

      Where’d you get those flight stands?

    • RE: HELP !!!! Need 50th anniversary japan setup chart, or a picture to reference.

      @vodot:

      Guys, use 7zip!

      Seriously, freaking WinRAR!? For what- archiving the album of .mp3s you downloaded from napster over the course of an entire evening with your state-of-the-art, 38880 baud, dial-up modem?

      I kid, but seriously: www.7zip.org.

      EDIT: If you’re on a mac, use this instead (it’s a 7zip port) www.kekaosx.com/

      YOU ARE A SAVIOR!!!

      Why do these always show up as a rar file for me? Is it a Mac thing? I have the same trouble with Siredbloods setup charts and cash too! I absolutely want a copy of these!!!

    • RE: Most Balanced Version

      G40 by far. A lot more depth than prior versions. That’s if you have the space to leave the board set up though. Not very 1vs1 friendly. Anniversary 50 would be a good go to if you have to clean it up after an afternoon of play

      Awesome content Gijoe! Thanks for posting. Really glad you like the product. I hope you have as much fun playing with them as I did making them for you. May all of your opponents rolls be 6’s (except when they are STR Bombing you)

    • RE: Dom's Decals

      @R:

      I have and that’s the problem with his website.  It took several months to get my order.  That’s what is motivating me to create my own, if not similar, of what he has to offer.  Check out www.combatminiatures.org. I will have Roundels and German Crosses in the coming weeks for aircraft.  If you have a request let me know.

      Nice selection and beautiful pieces. Nicely painted work to scale! What more can you ask for. A one stop shop!

    • RE: Solution for tracking remaining air unit movement after combat

      There is a golf Tee system used by one of the players here in Toronto. Met him at YG’s Tourney this year. Pretty cheap. Two tees of the same colour. One goes in country of origin, and the other goes into the battle territory. Just need to paint a few sets of Tees different colours, or use ones that are already coloured. Worked out nicely. If they are small enough, they aren’t very intrusive at all.

    • RE: New Table

      @Requester45:

      Hi all! I just wanted to let you guys know that I have began the process of building a new AA game table! This is very exciting for me and my friends, as we have been playing on the old one for awhile now. We have completed the design and scale model of the table, and have even bought most of the materials needed. We will begin building it soon and I will definitely post pictures either on the forum, or I’ll do videos for YouTube. The design is meant to make the table look like a normal dining table, and when you take the leafed top off, it will expose the game table underneath. It is a very intricate and detailed piece that will take a little while to complete. The table will feature 10 drawers (5 on each side) that are just tall enough to hold AA pieces, dice trays (with felt), cup holders, a light table underneath the map (to illuminate the entire board), and plexi-glass to cover the map and protect it. The table will be able to break down into several parts (making it easy to use), and the map will be interchangeable (for when we want to change the map).

      You are A LOT further along than I have gotten in the past 4 years! Looking forward to seeing the build process. Hope you enjoy every second of it

    • RE: Cliffside Bunker Battle Dice (UPDATED)

      @Young:

      @Gen.Nehring:

      Nice job YG! It might be too early but can you ballpark the price for a set of these dice? Are you going to sell them yourself or kickstarter or sell them through one or more of the gaming companies?

      No promises, we are still working out many details… but retail cost would be anywhere from $40 to $50 a set, each set would consist of 10 dice per colour, so 40 dice total. We are currently working out a deal with Historical Board Gaming for distribution… no plans for pre-order or crowdfunding on the 6 sided, but our future plans for our 8 sided dice will require more backing… all this however, is speculative ball parking at the moment.

      $40 to $50 CAD per set? Or USD

    • The Cliffside Bunker Flightstand

      The Cliffside Bunker Flightstand! Available starting Monday October 16th, 2017.

      32 mm tall so that the plane with fly above the Infantry stacked on 5 chips. The base is 3mm thick by 12mm wide which fits snug into the center of the chip counters. Pegs are 1/8" in diameter and are made of translucent acrylic rod. Price point will be $100 CAD for 100 stands (expensive I know! But, stick around).

      The FMG stands were $25 + TAX for 20 stands. That here in Ontario, Canada would be $1.41 per stand. $141 for 100 stands.

      Our set of one hundred flight stands will come with 300 1/8" X 1/32" diameter magnets (you will need to attach the magnets to the top of the flight stand peg). One magnet for each of your new flight stands, and another for each of your out of box Fighters, Tactical, and Strategic Bombers (There are 210 planes OOB but do you really need to magnetize all of those French planes?)

      Again, $100 (taxes included) for 100 flight stands and 300 1/8" X 1/32" magnets (which have a value of $0.10 per magnet). Thats over a 50% saving for the community.

      Shipping will vary from province to province, state to state, country to country. So if you are interested, please email us at cliffsidebunker@gmail.com

      How I would recommend putting them together and a little bit of history about how they came to be. Shot at the Cliffside Bunker with YG https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4uK2HTc1jQ
