      Coach,

A Midway Super CV! Now that is just totally cool.  I am waiting to see if you develop a Montana Class Battleship to take on Your Version of the Yamato. Your production of vehicles and ships is coming close to the detail level of Navwar and GHQ.
      Again Excellent work. :-D :-D :-D

in my miniature fleet for almost 30 years.  Really looking forward to the Churchill, German Infantry and the F-86 Sabre Jet.
Again Excellent work.  How about an M-26 Pershing and an M-24 Chaffee for you next US set?

    • Churrca Destroyer in the proposed French set

      Coach and Variable,

I noticed this Destroyer and it is an exclusive Spanish or Argentina use unit.
I can not find a reference of this class ever being used in the French WWII Navy.

      Name: Churruca class Destroyer
      Builders: SECN, Naval Dockyard, Cartagena.

Suggest a French The Chacal class, sometimes known as the Jaguar class, were a group of six French Navy large destroyers (contre-torpilleur) built commencing 1923. Designed as larger, more capable counterparts to the Bourrasque class, they set a standard for French destroyer design until the mid-1930s. All were named for wild animals: Chacal means jackal, and the other five were named for big cats.

    • RE: HBG's Japanese Sets

At one time, I was attempting to rebuild the entire Japanese Navy that served in WW2 in 1/700 scale waterline models. I was doing pretty good at finding models of each ship too. Most were made by Tamiya and Hasegawa. There might have been a couple of other manufacturer names too, although I think they might all be the same company now. I got all 12 Battleships, all but 1 carrier, all the Heavy Cruisers and most of the Light Cruisers and twenty-some Destroyers. I even had some submarines and auxiliary ships.
Then I got a book all about the Imperial Japanese Navy from 1889 - 1945. I made listings of all the different classes and models of ships that served from 1940-1945. That’s when I found out that Japan had about 160 different destroyers in service throughout the war. Not all at the same time of course. As some were lost in battles, others were built to replace them. Still, I realized I would not be able to get that many destroyer kits. I wasn’t even sure if all of them were even available. Shortly after I guess I just lost interest and gave up on that quest. Ended up selling most of the kits un-built. Still have the Battleships though.

knp7765,  I have 140 1-700 scale waterline IJN ships from Tamiya, Fujimi, Hasegawa and Pit Road
Mine are 19 to 33 years old. Just like you I thought man, I can build the entire IJN of WWII in waterline.
Never got it done, to many ships to build.  My entire collection of 1-700 scale ships is over 300 models and they sit in storage since my son born 19 years ago. Maybe willing to sell them if the price is right.

So now I am building all the WWII Navies in AA scale instead.

      Variable,

This is the first time ive seen your version of a Kagero Destroyer.  Previously it was not showing up on your images of this set.
The image you have now displayed  is a real close match to my 10 each Kagero 1-700 scale waterline models.  Good job, keep up the good work.

      ear Djensen,

––If there is a list of BAD TRADERS I would appreciate if you would carve
Brandon Scott Castle, a.k.a. “McLovin1985”, a.k.a. “SoJu”, a.k.a. “SoJu2012” into that piece of granite. I mainly wish to advise others of his serious mis-deeds in order that they may be fore-warned of him and not suffer the same frustration/exspence that I have.

----Things are about to “get legal” for the gentleman and I should have an update before much longer. Thanks Djensen for this wonderful forum you share with us.

      Variable,

Any naval units in this game?  Looks like a perfect game to show case a German Z Plan fleet and Allied CVs Midway, Malta, Battleships Montana and Vanguard and IJN A-140 and A-150 Battleships.

      Coach,
Awesome lineup for the Imperial Japanese set 2.  Will be ordering 10 sets when you
have them up for per-order.  I really like your version of the Battleship Yamato, it looks to be bigger and has more detail than the OOB Yamato.
Second I trust your choice for a Fleet carrier for the IJN for this set.
Maybe include a Shinnano, Shokaku and Zuikaku sculpts in an all Japanese naval set like we discussed in 2011

      Gents,

As promised here my take on Coach’s new German units.
Tiger E1 is Excellent, compares in size to DAVCO 1/300 Tiger E1s in metal.  This unit has great detail.
PZ II will round my Afrika Korps Divisions and the 2 mgs are a great detail.
Heavy Artillery is really an awesome unit, even better than the metal ones I own.
      Paras are totally cool units.
Battleships have fantastic detail and the light carrier is spot on to the pictures I have of the proposed designs.
D0-17 is an interesting aircraft. I personally would not have wanted to fly one.
German Heavy Bomber is totally cool.  Need some B-29 Super Fortresses to counter them.
ME-110 Fighter  and the Junkers transport are well designed.
The ME-262 is in the right scale, they were not large jets.  Will need Some British Gloster Metors to compete with them.
Or just paint up a bunch of RED TAILS ON P-51s for the Tuskegee Airmen.
The Super Sub will make a great Milch cow for the smaller OOB subs.

Coach, all in all a well designed bunch of German units.
Waiting to see what you create for the Japanese and French next.  Keep up the Superb work and again Thank You for giving us some new and unique units to field in our favorite game.

      Gents,

I Will be using all the extra pre-WWI Battleships for inclusion Imperious Leaders WWI game.
Just need a Grand Fleet pre-Dreadnought built to even out the WW1 Fleets.
I have not received mine yet, but I am expecting them this week.  I will offer my comment on them after I receive them.

      IDEA:
Then you can paint all your T-34s brown or Red and use them as extra Russian Tanks.
Char b1 are awesome looking and they were bigger than any German Panzer IIIs or 1Vs at the Invasion of France.

      Coach,

Awesome line up of IJN  and IJA units.  Get ready for another large order from me.
Question. Is you Yamato class going to be the same size as the OOB or bigger?
I would like to see a bigger unit seeing they where the largest WWII Battleships ever built.
Keep up the excellent work.  Waiting to receive my new German units this week so I can start painting them.
