Jermo: Torncity’s a free RPG, where you play a criminal in a city. Tons of things to do, lots of places to go, and they’re constantly expanding. It’s a little slow (the server, I mean), but I think they’re gonna be shifting servers sometime soon, which should speed it up a bit. If you do join, let me know, I can get you in with some people who’ll help you advance fast.

Fighters are best at defending VCs, as Orange said, but they can also be used as road blocks. Instead of placing them in the Reinforcement zones, where the German usually keeps Artillery to protect his incoming units, place them in the zones surrounding Reinforcement zones; that’ll greatly inhibit his movement, and maybe even slow his Reinforcements, if he gets backed-up.
Press hard on every side, as you said, and don’t ever leave Cherbourg for last. It’s the farthest away of the VCs, and while usually not heavily defended, still hard to reach in force. It should generally be the first VC you take and hold for the rest of the game.

Well, not quite IL; Joan of Arc did a pretty good job cleaning the British out. Granted, that was a while ago, but still technically a victory.
Student, heading off to college in the fall. Currently, I’m landscaping/caretaking at the Marriot’s summer compound up here, and working at the local library. I hope the caretaking job’ll last all through summer, but if it doesn’t I don’t know what I’ll do to fill.
