Another thing Ozone27 you also brought up the idea with that tank verse gun example. In guerilla warfare tanks are not that big of a deal. Which would most of the fighting would be. I think you are forgeting the other angle in this debate. The National Guard, they were meant to be like a mililtia , helping with roit control and in state problems. But at the same they were supposed to be a counter weight to the federal army. But now the Federal Government has some control of it. I think it might of happened during a court case right before the 91 gulf war but I’m not too sure. You want me to throw in my gun rights then please make the National guard 100% seperate form the federal government. When this government was founded it was all about checks and balances. 3 Civilian ones :Excutive,Judicial, and legistration. We also are supposed to have 3 military ones as well: Federal army, National Gaurd and priviate ownership of guns. IF one steps out of line the other 2 put it back in place, Military or Civilian. Ozone27 the reason why the government is doing that is because of the low birth rates. Why are there low birth rates, could it be cause German women are told not to worry about having kids? I mean if they want to die out as a ethnic group thats their business (would bother me some a little, cause on my mothers side I have some gerrman blood in my veins)
And I like German culture( the good culture that is) and believe it should be around for future generations. But what gets me the most is that there are people in U.S. who want to be like Europe with gun control and stuff like that. And In no way do I want to live under big European governmet!! And Ozone27 there is no way you can tell me that there are that many guns in Germany under non-government control. Law enforcement is governmet and just how many hunters are there in Germany??
By the way Ozone27 I have never said being non-white would hurt Europe, but low birth rates and heavy socalism will. Some socalism is ok but not too much. AND I DO READ THE POSTS but I may have jumped the gun there so I submit on the tone of my rant.

So F_alk do you think we should change on how we pick federal judges? How else could it be down? You say in one of your options of the judge not being a judge anymore, do you think we should lose the life time membership for federal judges?? Maybe go to 10 year terms?? Who decides when a judge is wrong?? Won’t that mess up the idea of seperate branches of government?? Please explain your position more??

Xi is it true that insurance companies own so much stuff like that?? Then why the Insurance companies complaing then? Maybe their rates are high because of greed and not trial lawyers? I would love to see their tax papers on what they are bringing in.

Now Xi I said I support Death Taxes not taking it away from living people after you are dead you don’t need a billion dollars! But Bill Gates should remeber that he can’t do it alone, there are people who work for him you know. He didn’t make those billion all by himself.

Now I’ll be the first to admit the Federal Government needs to work better and Yanny is right there is alot of waste but like it or not with a country this size you will need a large governmet. The government every so often needs to go on a diet and shed some programs.

With Dividend taxes that I’m neutral on. I have no idea how that system works.

Their navy did help out in the Med??? That I have never heard of. Did they do escort duty, hunt British subs, or just raid?? If you got any information about this subject TG Moses VI please share. The idea that they were helping in the Med sounds interesting. No book I have ever read made a statement like that, but at the same time Bulgaria isn’t talked about much either.

I believe they were part of the axis, they did some garrsion duty in the balkans, late in the war when the Red army was comming to their border they switched sides. They did not serve on the eastern front though from all my sources.

From what I hear Yanny the trial lawyers have over taken them on the donations, I could be wrong. But I swear i saw it on T.V. being said. I think they also said the unions were now 2nd. Could you find a link to sort this??

With most non-white Americans voting Democrat and with white people a minority in California can the Republican Party reclaim the state in 2004 or 2008?? What political strategies could the Republican party do to attract more non-white voters?? I believe Grey " Am i really the governor" Davis will be voted back in office next state election. I know where you are comming from BigBlocky but why do they complain then?? For example in Vermont where they have gay marriage even though most people in state are against it?? Maybe people need to study their canadites more carefully before voting for them!

As for the British Yanny Its not just their parties you have to admire but the people! Every British person I have met is very smart and well spoken even If I don’t always agree with them. Not only that most of the of the old british empire is like that: Canada, India, Australia, Hong Kong, and others. Everybody I have meet in person from these countries is very well educated. Even if they havn’t gone to a major college.

Getting rid of the marriage tax would be a good idea. But I have to disagree with getting rid of the death tax, think of what would happen without the death tax. In a few hundred years there would be famlies so rich they could build armies and threaten the nation. They would be so rich they could run in elections and out spend any oppentent. Their wealth could result in a monoply of power. Billionaries would become mult-billionaries. Multi-billionaries would become dare i say trillionaries??
Granted this would happen over several hundred years but the end result would be a super class of the super rich!! These families would be so rich they could buy out any compition!! Money Buys Power!! Look at our congress at all the rich people in it.

What exactly did you disagree with Bush’s tax cut. I have no problem raising or cutting taxxes when needed, but for the future please keep the death tax.

Good idea Xi, on the state law idea I would say that some in Congress would resist the idea, there are those that believe D.C. should decide everything for everybody.

What about a flat tax system?? Like 15% max tax on all?? Not on the poor of course. Do you guys believe that the marraige tax is ok or should we get rid of it?

I know I have picked on taxes lately. And I know that old saying “Taxes are the dues you pay for civilization” But are taxes too low? They too high?? How would you do the tax system??
