It all depends on the Japanese player. If you know for a fact that he will go hardcore for Russia or go full throttle into the Pacific and threaten the Western American then go ahead and build a IC in India.
But if you not sure about how he will make war then think twice about placing a IC in India. If Japan then get India after it’s there you may really regretted it.

If the Japanese player wont give up after Germany falls then Russia can build a navy to help beat her!!
There are some players who have no problem going down with the ship.
Besides if during the game the Japanese player built a huge Asian Empire then I can see him or her not going down with out a fight!!!

The game starts in 1941 not 1942.
Russia was invaded by Germany in 1941 on June 22nd.
The game starts right at the invasion. But your point remains solid though by mid 1941 Italy was already showing signs of war weariness!!!
Maybe too weak to be a true power in game, but still why not?
It could be the newbie power for beginners to learn with.
You would be suprised Cystic Crypt on how bad some stuff is being taught to college students. I have heard that some proffessors have claimed that the Soviet Union had a better economy than us before they fell apart.
It’s crap like that makes me want to kick some of those proffessors out of the system.
Some proffessors are nothing but ideological.
I can’t be the only person here who thinks leaving Italy out was a big mistake. Don’t get me wrong I still love the game just thought Italy would have been a big addition!! Yes Italy would have been the weakest power in the game but still they should have added it anyway.
I am glad though about hearing all these other people comming out with rules that add Italy. Thank god for these people.
Once Germany has fallen it should be no problem for Russia to take any of it’s areas back that Japan has. And after that go after any other Asian mainland area that Japan has. Once done then go ahead and build BBs.
Some Japanese Players wont quit till they have lost Japan itself.
If BBs are not to your liking then the Russian player can build Bombers.
My whole point was that Russia can’t build BBs till Germany is Dead!!!
I would guess within a few weeks to a few months.
If Russia builds a battleship at the start of the game, Germany will most likely overrun Karellia with few losses and from the start threaten Moscow!!
So NO dont build a battleship at the start of the game!!
Now if Germany falls and the Japan player won’t give up then go ahead and build a few battleships.
But only after Germany is DEAD!!!
I picked Japan.
With everybody now a days going 3v1 against Germany and doing very little against Japan during the game, it gives Japan a chance to really turn the tide in the game.
With such targets as: China, Eastern part of the Soviet union, India, Alaska, Mexico, Hawaii, Austrilia and even maybe Africa it’s easy for Japan to not only make the allies pay for not fighting it in the first few turns but also gives it the chance to cripple either U.K. or Soviet Union!!!

Yeah I had brought that up plus I also brought up the fact that in Africa it still goes on in some places. But he didn’t care. Everything he would say was about white people.

Try Soldier Kings. It’s a great game on the 7 years war during the time of Fredrick the Great.
Air Cav is good if u like fast pace squad warfare that includes helicopters during the cold war era.
PanzerBlitz or PanzerLeader if u like squad warfare in world war 2.
Battletech is a great game If u like Mech Warfare.
Blitzkrieg General is a great game based on world war 2 its like Axis & Allies but uses cardboard pieces. Still a good game though.

F_alk I think the others are not saying to blame everybody in a racial group for the crimes that a few make. But at the sametime it’s not a good sign when those few who do commit crimes are protected by the rest of the group.
The idea that a cop kills a black man while defending him or herself and then the black community of that area blames the police and not the criminal is really messed up.
That scenario happens time and time again.
And it gets much worse when Jesse Jackson gets involved!!
I wonder how much better race relations would be if Jesse would get out of the race baiting bussiness.

I have not been on for a while so I thought now would be a good time to come back to the forum. So happy 4th of July to everybody here!!! Yeah this country of ours isn’t perfect but at the same time there is no better place to live. We have had our ups and downs since 1776, but over all this still a great country to be part of.
I know there are alot of America bashers out there, very weird that most seem to be American themselves. But don’t let them get you down. Cause for all the hate they have for the U.S.A. they seem to have no problem living here!!!
So on this great day please take some time to think about or read something about our armed forces defending this country.
I’ll think about then men who died on D-Day & Pearl Harbor.
