We have started playing global 36v3 and I am really excited about the v4 rules that are coming. We also play standard G40 and we play Sireblood’s blood bath rules which is a blast if you like the more standard G40. I guess if you could let me know your email we could get something going.

@trig It does, ALOT… Thank you. I thought that might be the case. So in the example I cite if both the Attacker and Defender get 2 hits with their fighter those ‘hits’ must be taken against air craft in turn 1 only. On round 2 and more any hits that result from planes can be taken by any unit. Your right… I was overthinking it…

@insanehoshi Germany upgraded the factory in eastern Germany to a major and then built another factory (major) in East Prussia. So he had a total 6 rolls a turn! ( not all starting in 1936 of course ).

One of the things that attracted me to this game was the tech and how it’s played. What I had not expected/failed to understand was the ability to stop researching a tech line and then start a new one. If agree 100% with you that before I start making house rules we need to play more and we are planning to do the 1939 start this time and with the tech positions as indicated. We will see how it goes… Yes, I did want to throttle the german player because of the luck he was having…

Good for the two of you!! I have some work & vacation events that are about to kick off here in a few weeks so I am sort of getting ready for that. I have scheduled the weekend of September 24th ( Saturday or that Sunday ) to play the A&A Blood Bath rules. It’s A&A but better. You are welcome to join us that weekend and play if you want.

If that goes well we can schedule a G40 game for October. I have found that G40v3 can take at least 1 weekend for sure perhaps 2. My kids are all out of the house so I can leave the game up.

I am sure both of you will have good fun with Blood Bath…
