Yeah… that carrier. I actually painted two of them ages ago - with the thought that they’d be the mini-carriers due to their size in comparison to all the others I have. But now when I look at them… they aren’t very nice as sculpts go, would take some modding to make them look cool.
As to what it closely resembles? WHew… no clue. Although we can count out some of the carriers with the big stacks since it doesn’t have one…
From mine? Wow… I did do some mods (mostly infantry, but also the Russian carrier and Italian craft) - but nothing in comparison to the good stuff you have going on. I’m excited to see what yours look like once they’re painted up Sarge - and have started retooling some of my stuff as well Much obliged for posting the pics!
Hmm… a pretty primitive Looking Iowa class. With some stacks I think it would more likely resemble one of the mediterranean ships (the Greeks had one called Georgios or something like that…) - if used with the others/oob’s, since it’s smaller. I thought about making it a neutral of some sort but abandoned the idea. You?

Closest I could think of was the Panz as well… or a neutral country’s design that never seen much action. 8-)
Agreed. Tank is the one I always thought strange… that searchlight effect of that part on the turret section of the sculpt, good stuff in a way. Think I’ll try modernizing, using some clay bits to mount some searchlights on better sculpts… :lol:

Huh - I was going to post the same inquiry. After rifling through some old bits boxes… The transport could be a Victory/Liberty… but just as easily a common freight ship. The fighter - zero looks like, but hell, could be an avenger eh eh eh Sub - you’re right, looks pretty modern. That tank… is that spotlight on it? Bomber - B-17, though there are a couple USSR bombers it could be. I suppose they might have had the intention of being generic Yavid, but not too sure given the early state of those sculpts…

I have been painting for about 2 years, and start using acrylic paints for the last 2 months. When I was getting started you were one of the people that inspire me to start painting my minis. I got a lot of ideas by looking at your pics. I hope more ppl will post pics of theirr painted minis, that way we can exchange ideas with each other.

Very very nice - I love those uniforms. I have a 15mm Prussian army (painted) myself, but I miss working/being able to get in that kind of detail with 1/72 and the like…
