Yeah - been around a bit, I’m ok now.  But even in travels I managed to take some paint and figs with me, so yeah - I do have some new pics but uhh… different phone/cam + laptop and had some trouble uploading.  Will give it another go ~

Random - darn it.  Still “413 Request Entity Too Large” (even on text posts (?)).  I vaguely recall having troubles on this forum before in regard to pics.  Easier to just post on BBG and post the link here?  Mod?

Overhauled this edition over the years - have some random pics to post before going unit-by-unit pics (and to get a handle on the new cam).

Oh yeah man… sorry about my absence. I’ve been traveling quite a lot (hopefully this will change in a couple months), so my Internet time and chances to game have been limited.  BUT, I do bring select minis and paints with me and trick some out when I have a chance - so I’ll try to post some of those.

Heyo Paul!  I’ve been MIA for a bit… still am, travel.  BUT, I have been taking my parts of my 50th along - I’ve overhauled it, almost done.  I think you’ll really like what I’ve done - I’ll start posting when it’s complete.  Btw - wow, the warmachine - wow… some fantastic - not some, all are so damn impressive!  You get any table time with your painted figs yet Paul?  I’d like to see some in action - I haven’t had as much time online lately as in the past but I’d go out of my way to see some of those action photos.

Bummer, was really looking forward to these - links not linked… errr, dysfunctional. Isn’t there anyway to get a hold of these files so that a person might print them out on their own?  Better yet - modify the text? For a couple reasons - I’d like to use my own particular paper/card stock, everyone has their own particular house rules and certain cards will not work with them - so I wouldn’t bother printing them unless they can be altered to fit, and cost - DIY is always cheaper.

Wow - thanks for the excellent advice Metabaron!  My experiences with making my own decals were junk - so perhaps I could paypal you post and handling for some print-outs?  Sounds like you’re working on others - is it ok if I wait to see if you create other decks? I’ll look around for flight deck images and send them your way - cool?

I tried the brush on varnish once - bad experience, took out more detail than the spray.

Fantastico!  Those are awesome - those Soviets and ‘back’sacks’.  eh eh eh - wonderful shading Spit.  And ‘letting loose’ - love it! I have a few of those I’ve been meaning to post.  Hey - are these coated yet?  What do you use to coat em?  I go for the basic clear coat - but notice I lose a little detail sometimes.

Ok, so I tried enamels… nope.  I’m sticking to acrylics.  They just don’t dry fast enough for me, and despite the shiny coat that blends better with the decals, I prefer the acrylics.  To each their own obviously, as I’ve seen some awesome enamel pieces on here.

Awhile back I looked over some really nice NA cards for 50th that someone was making - did those ever see completion?  I wouldn’t mind getting a hold of those for a printout…

Just the file could work though… I’ve used thin paper glued down in some instances and it looks good.  Uhh… yeah, I’d like to get a hold of that file as well…  8-)
