      @the-captain Ah ok, that clarifies a lot. I messed up that rule in all my games. I found the wording ‘each carrier is damaged before each battleship’ hard to understand, and in the example the hit scheme went like: AC-BA-AC-BA so I thought that was the way. That altered a lot of my games as in my example I would have taken the Carrier and the Battleship as a casualty.

      @the_good_captain Sure, edit! I also forget that most of the time. It’s not the most useful piece out there for the Allies. In these a&a games with that sub, I mostly just go to the pacific, because there is nothing to do in the Atlantic :)

      Two Questions,

      1. Can you create a Soviet Army Corps in the Mobilize New Units phase?

      2. Can you damage two Aircraft Carriers consecutively or does a Battleship need to be damaged in between?
        Example: 1 damaged Battleship and 2 damaged Carriers are attacked. The attacker rolls and gets two hits. Can the Defender now select the two Aircraft Carriers or does it need to be an Aircraft Carrier and then a Battleship?

      3. Also, in a battle, does the Capital ship hit scheme goes like this AC-BA-AC-BA?

      @the_good_captain Oh, I never knew that! I hope they fix that issue in the future. But it didn’t really matter actually. For strategic purposes I prefer that fighter to be in Eastern Poland, (it isn’t in Baltic States actually) and the bomber too.

      What to do when you have a big battle? I attacked your troops in Belorussia, but I just chose the casualties from the cheapest to the most expensive. Now it didn’t matter as I killed you with 2 British fighters and a British tank left, and I have only 1 plane and a bomber left. But should you, after each round message the other player which casualties he wants to take? Because I didn’t really think about it.

      @the-captain Yeah, playing the 1943 setup immediately is not the right way to go. Learning all those House Rule Expansion rules may look a bit boring, but it’s definitely worth it. I am learning the rules section by section and playing a game for each section. I have now reached Early 1943 in my section 3 game. Wowy, what is this exciting! The Eastern Front is such an interesting battle. I will post my Section 2 game report, and a report for my section 3 game in the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion thread.

      Hi Captain,

      I had two questions regarding the rules.

      1. In OOB, it states that if Russia isn’t at war with Japan, Allied units cannot enter the Russian territories on the Pacific side on the board. Is the US still able to lend lease units to e.g. the Soviet Far East if Russia is not at war with Japan?

      2. The Red Army Conscription rule states that Russia can build 6 units in Stalingrad that turn. But what if the Stalingrad factory is moved to a different location e.g. Samara? Is Russia able to place 6 or 3 units at that factory site? In the Russian strategy guide, it seems to state 6 units.

      @barnee Those aren’t typos actually, it’s the correct spelling. The names printed on the G40 board are actually wrong, so Captain wrote the right names on the Japanese setup chart.
