You also said in a previous post something about I should bust out some names. What do you mean by that exactly?
Lol, so cool you can just drag those units in any territory! That will save so much trouble with the edit! :)

L25 Classic VictoryFirst (Axis) vs. leemorrison (Allies)
@leemorrison wins against @VictoryFirst. 5 techs for Japan weren’t enough to turn the tides.

That looks pretty awesome to me! If I understand it correctly, we will put the names of the armies into these boxes? Is there a file I need to edit in order to do the names?
Can’t wait for the relief tiles - they make the game really come to life in my opinion!

@gamerman01 Yeah, egghead brain me allowed the Allies to move to Eastern Europe. That was a fatal blunder. Good that Lee spotted that
HB would be the only way to win as Berlin was about to fall, and with HB I would have an 80% chance of capturing Moscow (not that it would guarentee a win for me but at least the game would not be immediately over).

RE: Global 1943 Expansion, Revisedposted in House Rules
@the-captain Hi Captain,
No, I haven’t yet, but I will love to do it. I am still learning the rules. Because of work, I didn’t have a lot of time to finish my Section 2 game. But now I have a holiday, so I made a lot of progress, it’s now Late 1945. When it’s finished, I will post an After Action Report, and then I will start my first Section 3 game. After that my first Section 4 game. And after that, I will begin with the 1943 setup. -

Heh heh well there was a bit of luck involved too, but I am happy to see them have come so far!

Does the order from the list correspond with the boxes on top or is this just a random order?
Which boxes are used for the landmines?
Hope I can be of assistance with the names. Just only need to create PNGs of the names that’ll go in the boxes?

There we go. Let your mighty Axis forces mobilize and take over the world… only temporarily of course.
Victory says he’s “only played against his teddy bears” and that his sister beat him twice.
Haha, not even teddy bears or sisters! I simply put a mirror at the other side of the table, and played against that!

@barnee Wowy, this is the first time I see the 1943 setup set up! I didn’t know Russia had so many units! This looks very interesting to me, and I would love to play it, but first I need to learn all the rules.

@FMErwinRommel I am pretty sure the Spanish would call them boffinos.

That’s some good news. Great that it finally worked. Not that I understood anything of it lol :) I am really a newbie when it comes to this. I am eager for learning about it though.
Should I fire up the Japan turn using the UHD boxes git or the other one you sent me (which was just called UHD)?
For clarification, which idea did you exactly have in mind for the timetable? Do you want boxes to represent each turn, and use a red token to keep track of the calendar turn? Or do you want tokens for each calendar turn, and put the token that corresponds with the current turn in one box? Sorry if I missed this, lost track because of all the posts lol.
48x48 is a good size? That would be normal Army size. 52 is Tank army size. We could also go with 56.If I understand correctly, do you want tokens for each calendar turn, alternating between red and white?

@gamerman01 said in L25 G40 OOB Gamerman01 (x) v VictoryFirst (+50):
You are wielding awesome power with the USSR
When players were talking about how bids needed to be a lot larger than the 25 we used to play, I think of Russia and what I could do with all that extra money that would just plain stuff the German advance.
Well I can’t say too much because I’m only beginning to play with these 40-50 bids, so we’ll see.In BM and I think OOB, subs to 106, 91, 98, and sub or fighter to 111 are all common. With a little dice assist, you paid the price, but with your bid in the USSR, it is up to the reds to put the hurt on and keep the Huns 1,000 miles from Moscow, Stalingrad, and Caucasus oil fields.
No pressure!
Thank you, I have no idea what people normally use as bid so I just spent it on my favorite units - Russian air units! LOL I don’t know any A&A version where Russia wouldn’t be happy to have a large air force.

@barnee Those aren’t typos actually, it’s the correct spelling. The names printed on the G40 board are actually wrong, so Captain wrote the right names on the Japanese setup chart.

My bad, completely missed I was up. Sorry, I will do it now.

RE: Global 40 Expansion Boxesposted in TripleA Support
Great progress! It looks very good already. Just a heads up - what should I be doing exactly at the moment? I know I should bust out some names, but what about the icons?
No worries, I will get all of this down at the end of this week :) I am having four days off so I can really go hardcore mode lol.

@gamerman01 Yeah sure, commentary is greatly appreciated. This is a learning game for me after all.
Sorry for that mistake, I missed it didn’t take part.

It’s the Japanese turn 5, and the biggest naval battle I’ve ever seen has commenced. The battle takes place in sz 34, around Allied possessed Palau. The entire Axis and Allied fleet are battling here. Japan has 85 combat factors, the Allies have 78. Winner of this battle will have Pacific naval supremacy
