–-You should use the mapping utility AAMap
      Got it. Thanks!

–-Not that many people play spring 42 here, great to see another '42 fan. I would suggest reading a few of the playing strategies here, I learned much by reading what others do.
Will do. Thanks for taking the time to play a beginner!

    • Spring 1942

      Greetings.

I’m new to playing by forum, but I’d like to try it out. I’m looking for a Spring 1942 game by forum… any opponent who is interested. I’ll go first as the Allies to get things moving. If you are dying to play the Allies then just ignore my Russian move and substitute your own – I’ll play the Axis. I’ll check back daily to see if anyone has taken the bait.

Spring 1942. 9 victory cities to win. Turkey straights are open.

      Thanks in advance,
      Varn H

See the game I started (assuming I would be Russia) in the boardgame section of play by forum.

I’m near Morgantown WV. One of my friends in the same area also plays.

I have Classic, the old Pacific/Europe, Guadalcanal, Spring 1942 (with a big 64"x34" banner board), and just recently (never played yet) Pacific/Europe 1940.

I regularly travel north as far as Pittsburgh PA, west as far as Wheeling WV, south as far as Charleston WV, and east as far as Cumberland MD. I could be persuaded to travel a bit further in any of those directions to play A&A once in a while. My work schedule is fairly flexible: I have days off on weekdays and weekends alike depending on the week.

I’d be willing to host or drive, and for just about any version(s) you’d care to play.

I have recently acquired Global 1940. I’d be up for traveling to Pittsburgh (it’s an hour and a half from me) for any face to face variant of Axis and Allies. My work schedule is fairly flexible: I have days off on weekdays and weekends alike depending on the week.

I have Classic, Spring 1942, the old Pacific/Europe, and Guadalcanal. I have a nice 64"x34" 1942 map (courtesy of Imperious Leader). I am getting Pacific 1940, but have never played any of the 1940 games yet. I would be interested in playing pretty much anything, and would possibly travel 2+ hours to do it.

    • RE: Imperious Leaders 1942 Supreme Map

      Dear Imperious Leader,

Thank you for the map file(s)! I had the Spring 1942 version printed yesterday on vinyl banner material, 64" x 34". It looks fantastic. Your name proudly adorns yet another A&A table! You’ve made me (and my friends who play) very happy!

I plan to check out the other versions you posted as well.

      Thanks again!!!

(I attached an image file, hopefully it works…)
