      Yes, I have heard that Feldpink goes well with Feldgrau.

      @reloader-1:

      Let me make this real simple from a financial standpoint: the costs of units comes primarily from molds, not the actual making of the pieces. Hence, it is relatively easy to change colors when necessary.

      That being said, every Axis & Allies game in print, or released in the last four years has been molded in the same colors. The most logical assumption would therefore be to mold FMG’s pieces in the same colors, and IF in a few years the colors change…. Mold a new batch of units in the new colors! Simple, really, when one thinks about it.

      This seems to make sense to me as well. I have had to paint a few house rule pieces to match my WOTC pieces, but they never really match perfectly. I’d rather have the FMG pieces in the correct color to begin with. And if colors do change, it won’t be a big deal to change accordingly. Plenty house rule people would even buy the “old” colors I bet…

    • RE: Tricked out my AA50th - pics in a bucket

      @trackmagic:

      I got a reply from i-94. They gave me this price list:
      Japan      JP 100, 102 or 103
      Germany  GR 100, 106, 116 are popular.
      Italy       IT 100
      China      MI 106
      ANZAC    BR 106
      US          US 100, 102, 108, 109, 112, 119 are the best sellers.
      UK          BR 107, 111

      I assume you just put those on the form that you download off their website to order.

      I am trying to confirm pricing and which decals are what exactly (and how many come on a sheet). I’ll post a reply when I hear back. Vicacocha, do you know if the numbers indicate size or are just part numbers for different designs?

      These are just part numbers since they have multiple sets for each country.

      Oh right, the casualty strip. Yes, your pattern seems to fit the established system. Thanks for the reminder. That should work great.

      @TwistedAries:

      I will be creating some for each side as well so there will be only 2 towers.  There will be multiple designs as well.  I will try to get some done shortly and post pictures.

      Yes! These are the pictures I have been waiting for. I’m very interested in your stuff. Will they be wood or cardboard?

      How about all defending artillery fire preemptively during an amphibious assault from any of the appropriate sea zones?

      Something along the lines of coastal guns? I remember there was member of the WOTC forums that had discussed with me in great length about them.

      Would the artillery hit the offloading units, or the naval units in the sea zones?

      In keeping with established rules patterns, it should only be offloading units just before the land battle. Think of it as the defensive version of the BB/CC bombardment.

      Sounds good.

      But, I’ve been thinking, since the Atlantic Wall was such a huge undertaking, that the German player should pay some type of fee. After paying that fee, some type of token can be placed on a territory, as proof of the Wall. and the ability of preemptive strike during amphibious assaults.

      So you prefer it to be more like a tech than an NA. That works for tech. But for the NA, it would have to automatic and triggered by the occupation of Germany and France.

    • RE: USA in global only get 30 IPC in war NO

      @SilverAngelSurfer:

      @Variable:

      It’s possible that EUS would be worth 15 instead of 10, putting your total at 82. Another possibility is Larry’s comment about the Middle East… US income from that somehow? Maybe…

      EUS is actually usually worth 12 IPCs, but I suppose that’s a possibility also.  However, I added wrong for the contiguous US, since EUS is worth 12 IPC and CUS is worth 6 usually, that makes those two worth 18 together, not 20. edited above post  So if EUS was worth 15 that would take the grand total to 78 IPCs actually.

      However, what comment of Larry’s are you referring to with the Middle East?  I know he’s talked about greater value there and such, but I still wasn’t aware of any possible US presence anywhere other than the Americas + Philippines as usual.

      Just PURE SPECULATION on my part with the Middle East. I’m just saying the we know it will be controlled by UK to start and has a big bulls-eye painted on it by the Germans/Italians. I was just wondering if Allies holding the ME gives the US some kind of income bonus. It would be a reason for the US to get involved in that part of the war where we typically don’t see them.

      Price is JUST A PLACE HOLDER!!!

      software requires all items to have prices.  I though of putting $1,000,000 as a joke!

      Relax, and FMG will release his prices soon - and it won’t be $600 a set!

      I’m not saying it’s not worth $600. I’m just saying I don’t have $600!  :lol:

      @Admiral:

      Those are good, Variable.

      I especially like the tropical camo done on the Betty.

      That’s my version of AllWork’s camo over bare metal. It’s my favorite too. I had fun with the carriers, making one a “late war” version with a tarred deck.

      Next up is subs, artillery, and destroyers. This is a lot of work, especially considering the GC set is WAY smaller than the P40 set. I can imagine the work that AllWork has put in!

      How about move the Japanese transport from SZ33 to SZ6. Makes Japan choose targets on a J1 attack, or set up for a J2 attack. Is that more of what you had in mind?
