For my SS panzers, panzergrenadiers, Tigers I use GHQ 1/285 micro armour painted in the ambush scheme with the JBG SS markers.

Man those GHQ models are sweet! If I were rich my A&A board would be made of those exclusively.

We looked for that rule and could not find it. As far as I can tell if you want 4 subs in 4 territories you can if you want. It only came up once during the purchase phase but by the end of the turn, it all worked out okay.

Alternatively, you can give Canada to ANZAC, replace the Canadian units with ANZAC ones, and play that way.

Any time you can go in period garb, do it for the looks. Also have some good answers to obvious questions. Im a mideival reenactor and its great to see the looks when your in costume. When they ask if your in a play or an actor and you say no we always dress like this. Or what do you do, ( carring a great sword or sword and sheild in armor) and we say were in the busines of hurting people

Also, scatter 1 infantry in each territory when pulling back as it prevents blitzing and forces them to earn every mile, confront his stack with yours to early, or leave most of your infantry where it can be reached.

Let me add that not every zone that the enemy can reach needs an INF as a blocker.
In certain places (in case there aren’t a LOT of german tanks), leaving certain territories open is ok, trying to single out some tanks and finishing them off with some INF + air force. Of course not every German will take the baitl.

Yes the airbase is neccesary because this allows the jap planes to fly the seven spaces needed to land in Leningrad and the space below it which I cant remember the name. I think suiyuyan is perfect as its a good distance back from the russian mec forces moving from moscow but it also still allows planes from there good movement down to the burma china boarder but back up towards the far east. I was trying to do it without an airbase originaly but it was important and if you land in leningrad you can fly back all the way to suiyuyan and just keep on doing bombing runs until he has to many interceptors.This coupled with the german attack worked well. I think round 2 is early enough but I might try the same thing but on round 1 and take out those ruskies on the front before they have a chance to retreat. I dont know though. this is what i did in the game I m playig now.R1 France, Finland, bulgaria, R2 Yugo, Greece, Russia(strategic Bomb as well). R6 in Moscow need starlingrad got 27 dollars off the ruskies.My opponent is doing some crazy stuff so will see what happens. :mrgreen:

I agree with the Axis, especially Japan controlling the flow of the game right from the beginning.

However England and India are my favorite in this one. In it and overmatched right from the beginning, I love it when both are the crippling thorn in the Axis rear.

You misunderstand my post - there are only ever four powers, with the neutrals acting just like OOB, but with different alignments.

It really should be:

1939- June 1941 Four Power game (Allies[UK & F], Axis[G & I], USSR, Japan)

Becomes three power game after June 1941 (i.e. USSR joins the Allies)

Becomes two power game after December 1941 (Japan joins the Axis)

It’s reasonable to assume that the USA only ever joins the Allies, and that (before June 1940) Italy only ever joins the Axis.  The position of China is tricky, since we don’t want to exclude the possibility of an Allied/Japanese alliance, but where does that leave China - a neutral that the other powers (i.e. not Japan) can send aid to without it being a DOW on Japan?
