    • RE: United Kingdom -underrated in all ways

Haha, I love Norwegians :D. The British are underrated and I love your strategy. In fact, I’ve seen games when the British flag has flown over Berlin and Tokyo.

    • RE: AA GUNS

My friends and I play with the house rule that you can have more than one AA gun in a territory. It works really well sometimes if you need to defend an important territory.

    • RE: Sport games

I love to play sports and sports video games. What myself and some of my friends do sometimes is go out and play basketball and then come in when we are all worn out and start a tournament on MVP Baseball or something. So, we sorta compromise to what you guys are talking about :D.

    • Europe or Pacific

It seems that Europe is a bit more popular, at least maybe from what I see. I just wanted to start a poll just to see :D.

    • RE: Should Japan attack Pearl on first turn?

You make some good points DF. However, just remember that purchasing those tranports could possibly delay the Japanese march across Russia. However, if the Germans don’t need, or don’t want any help, then by all means go with what Desertfox says.

    • RE: What kind of player are you?

I throw something if I get bad roles. I’m depressed for hours when I lose. That may not seem like me but that’s what I do. Almost all of my friends are competitive and one of them even has been slapped before over an argument. It’s brutal out there. However, we always seem to have fun :D.

    • RE: Should Japan attack Pearl on first turn?

It just depends on your strategy. Do you want to help out your ally by destrying a potentially dangerous fleet that could be used against them later in the game, or do you want to protect your home waters around Japan and harass India and other Allied bases. My opinion, go for it. Help the Germans out as much as possible.

    • RE: What to do with W. Canada infantry?

You make some good points. I think this is why the United Kingdom player must spend his money wisely, splitting it between Africa, Karelia, and the invasion of Europe later in the game.

    • RE: What to do with W. Canada infantry?

I’m sorry I didn’t mean to get everyone off topic here . However, as someone said, the Japanese usually concentrate on the Russians and the Americans on the Germans in most of our games. Sorry again.

    • Most Important Neautral in Axis and Allies

In your opinion, what is the most important neutral country in the game to the success of your country. I don’t know if this has been brought up before so I was just wanting to see what people think :D.

I’d probably have to say Spain, a country where the Allies can launch their invasion into German-occupied Europe from, or Mongolia, where the Japanese can take somewhat of a shortcut to Moscow. Thanks for everyone’s time :D.

    • RE: What to do with W. Canada infantry?

I usually use it for help in Europe. The people I play against don’t focus much on Alaska, and the extra infantry in Europe is always helpful :D.

    • Worth Getting?

From what I here there are several differences in this game compared to past variants such as chance cards. So is the game worth getting? Thanks for your guys’s time and thoughts. Have a good one :D .

    • RE: Best National Advantages

The Brits and the Russians may have one or two good National Advantages, but you have to admit, Fortress Europe and the Atlantic Wall come in handy when the Allies are threating. The Panzerblitz (if the Jerries have enough armor :D) can blow through Moscow on turn 1 or 2 if you play real well and get those dice rolls.

    • RE: How Long Does Russia Usually Stay In The Game?

Karelia, as a friend was said, “Is a giant teeter-totter.” Whoever controls it controls the war on the Eastern Front :D.

    • RE: WW1: Whos to Blame?

I’d have to say Austria-Hungary. If they weren’t doing stuff (I don’t know what exactly) to Serbia then there wouldn’t have ever of been a war. I don’t know if any of you saw my quote from awhile back but it was from the Great War, “Two rounds from one pistol rocked the world. It was the crime that was the small stone, rocked, brings the avalanche.”

    • RE: Has anyone played with the 3/3 tanks from the new AH edition

I agree with both of you. I’ve tried the new rule now, and for Germany I say, “Yes.” However, Stalin’s probably wacking himself. Personally, I don’t like the 3/3 tank that much but, hey, I’m just one person :D.
