It’s not that hard to understand. Each state has a ‘highest point’. Which state has the lowest of those 50?
Seems to me I’ve heard this before, but can’t remember the answer, so I’ll guess: Florida?
…I bought my copy at the closest gaming store I could find that actually had it in stock.
Yup I paid the hundred bucks.
Ditto here.
I personally don’t mind the pieces the way they came in my box. Some of the BBs had a ‘keel’ that I needed to remove in order for them to sit flat, but that is my only real gripe (other than the colors).
You get what you pay for, though. $100 may seem like quite a bit for a board game, but a lot of work went into AA50 to make it what it is. If we had received everything we had asked for, the game would have been much more expensive. I think what we actually received was worth it, especially if you only paid $70 for it.
I don’t know if it’s just on my end, but I assume everybody is experiencing this. Every so often, the site goes unresponsive for a period of a minute or two. It was quite sporadic in the past few weeks, but it seemed to be much worse today. Making a turn via PBF took twice as long as it usually does due to the time I had to wait before the site became responsive again. Is there anything going on? Is it just temporary?
It doesn’t make sense to me that casualties taken as an effect of bombardment are allowed to defend. Offshore bombardment, historically speaking, was done BEFORE the actual landing.
All of the destroyers look the same, regardless of the country. So if you get used to how they look, it isn’t so hard to distinguish them from the cruisers.
I’m looking for a game of A&A revised, hopefully my first online win.
Of course, another learning experience is good too.
I’ll play wit ya if you don’t already have a game. I’ll send a PM your way.
I’m looking for a not-so-experienced-that-I-get-my-a**-kicked opponent for PBF AAR. I know many of you are playing in the tourney, but I’m figuring somebody is about to lose by now.
I’d be so up for a game. I’ve been playing on this forum for half a year maybe and got 3 games under my belt, so compared to some of these other players I think I’d be right up your alley. Send me a Personal Message and we’ll set this thing up.
Seeing how you responded to me before I posted in Sun Tzu’s thread, I will play with you. PM me details.

“There are 10 kinds of people: Those that know binary and those that don’t.” - Unknown (to me). :-D
In all seriousness, I don’t live my life by anything somebody else said.
Say you attack with 1 infantry and 1 artillery and as a result of the first round of battle, you take a hit and choose to lose the arty (Not the smart choice, I know). Does the infantry go back to an attack roll of “1” for the next round or does it stay at “2” until resolving the battle? LHTR doesn’t clarify.
