      OK never mind.  Just did more reading and found the following: “However, a transport is not allowed to offload land units for an amphibious assault in a sea zone containing 1 or more ignored enemy submarines unless at least 1 warship belonging to the attacking power is also present in the sea zone at the end of the Combat Move phase”

      TripleA also lets me do it if I move my sub there.  It seems to make me have to kill your sub before I can unload.  Or put another way, TripleA seems to think that your sub can’t be ignored.

      Hi there, I’m considering amphibious assaulting Denmark with Russia from SZ112.  TripleA won’t let me do it unless I also move my destroyer to SZ112, I guess so that I can kill the sub before unloading.  Is this correct?  My understanding is that I can ignore subs (if there are no enemy “surface warships” in the same seazone) as the attacker.  Specifically, I’m reading from the rulebook under transports: “A transport can’t load or offload while in a hostile sea zone.  Remember that hostile sea zones contain enemy units, but that for purposes of determining status of a sea zone, submarines and transports are ignored”.

      I’m a bit confused. Is the above quote invalid during amphibious assaults, or where you could scramble planes like in this case?  If so where does it say this in the rules?  I can’t find it.  Just trying to figure out whether this is a bug in TripleA in which case we should override it, or whether this is correct.  Let me know if you know where the rule is on this; I’ll then decide what I’m going to do (not necessarily saying I’ll do the amph assault if I can, just want to know whether it’s an option without the destroyer).
