RE: Partial birth Abortion
“So nice to see you again Lady TM. We’ve had only your brother to deal with, and sadly without the gracious counter rendered by his sweet and brighter if younger sister.
How are you, by the way?”Blushes Awww… A warm reception from everybody’s favorite doctor, Sir Cystic Crypt. I feel so warm and fuzzy inside. _ I apologize for my long absence. It was no one else’s fault but mine. My grades had started to decline, and I needed Older Brother to pull me away from all the distractions in life so I could better concentrate on my studies. ^^ Have you been treating you sisters well too? ^~
PS: I am not a young lady yet! ^^;;

RE: What Other Strategy Board Games Do You Recommend???
So sad… :cry: My favorite is her majesty’s Great Britain. I never went wrong with her in Axis and Allies when waves of my bombers descended on Germany, and I have not gone wrong with them in Diplomacy. Just do not tell my brother that. ^_~;;

RE: Favorite Band?
Even though I do not get much time to listen to band music, I can agree with some of your choices. My favorite from RadioHead is Kid A and I have listened to Summer Teeth from Wilco. I am not an expert, so I do not know how compare, but good music is good music. ^_^

RE: State of the Union Address…
Those Canadians sure can be courageous little buggers. ^_^

RE: Serious topics.
Viel Glück then! ^_^ TG will enjoy having such a honorable person to duel against, Sir StrongBad1988.

RE: What Other Strategy Board Games Do You Recommend???
I can highly recommend Diplomacy and American Civil War. I play them with TG all the time. Diplomacy involves more political strategy, but you are guaranteed a good time. Stay away from Campaign for North Africa, and you will be fine. It is looonnnnngggg… ~_~;;

RE: State of the Union Address…
“When we annex Canada and combine RI and CT into one state we should make Canda into a state called “New Washington””
Should not Canada belong to the Canadians? :( Just as long as they are free to choose. :)

RE: Serious topics.
I think that TG is just being modest ^~
But great job, Sir StrongBad1988! As I scrolled down the Forum Index, almost all the current post were by you! You are becoming just like TG himself. ^^ Keep up the good work. -
RE: Iraq, again
“Tg
don’t think I’m arguing with you, I don’t have an argumentative tone while I’m writing (YOU).”I apologize for that, Sir Alamein. Sometimes, Older brother can come overly harsh or critical with a topic such as communism. It is in contrite that you are never offended again. :(

RE: Iraq, again
“working on cars in most reputable shops involves sophisticated tools and an excellent understanding of how and why they work (theory).”
I am always looking for people to contact and exchange information with in regards with our project, and you seem like just the person in this field! ^^
“it’s not too complex- just different.”
I agree. The actual workings of a PEM fuel cell are not that hard to understand. :)
“I hope that doesn’t disappoint you (me not being the typical left wing internet rocket scientist), but my favorite job is being my kids dad. and that beats rocket science any day.”
Awwwww…. how sweet. :oops: ~_~

RE: Partial birth Abortion
I know that the 30th Anniversary of Roe vs. Wade is coming up very soon or might have even passed, but since I do not have much time remaining, at least from my perspective I see most casses of abortion morally wrong.

RE: Iraq, again
“I feel strongly about hard work, dedication, and working for my goals.”
Yes, my brother shares those same exact work ethics too. However, he humbly states that his loyalty to dedication and excellence should not be accredited to him, but a way to prove that hardwork can still prevail in America and under a communist society. Maybe that is his incentive for trying… :)
“I recognise that ho chi mihn was a great leader.”
I apologize that I do not know too much about him. :(
“unless of course your commie society was the one with the chicks and booze - in that case I’m in.”
I will be happy sitting under a tree with a good book. ^_^;;

RE: Serious topics.
Well done! ^^ Whoever thought you would be still going strong a rate of over 10 post a day and a total of over 4000 post? ** It boggles since they have all been so good. Can I borrow some next time? :)

RE: State of the Union Address…
I never doubt that our seniors should not be taken of, which they should, but it will be hard to squeeze 400 (?) Billion out of the economy.

RE: Iraq, again
“TG mostly I’ll respond to the vehicle stuff-
batteries that will go 100, 000 miles? I said four years- typically the customers that I deal with will have closer to 150K on their cars in four years. so it’s the same differense- no offense.”I hope that I am not too out of line when I respond to TG’s post. Current analyst in this area predict that the average battery on a Electric Vehicle will last 3 to 5 years (200,000+ miles or 500 cycles), depending on how much you drive. The replacement batteries cost from $600 to $1500, which is not as expensive as you think considering all the maintenance and fuel cost with a normal ICE.
“we are extremely close to full production of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle.”
Actually at the school that I go to, we are working hard to build a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle (proton exchange membrane). >^^< What product are you working on? How much were you able to lower the cost of 1 kW from a FC under mass production? ^^
When it comes to communism, I care more about humanity than a desire for industry profits. However, TG says I can never be a communist. :cry:

RE: State of the Union Address…
I thought Mr. President gave a very dignified and very eloquent speech. There are a few numbers I do not agree with his domestic agenda, like his Medicare Proposal, and the amount of spending he wants to incur, even during a recovery from a recession. I was hoping that our President would spend a little more time of environmental rights, but I understand it takes a backseat with our current affairs. The second half of his speech was much more somber with the war on terror and the current situation of Iraq and North Korea. Overall, a very excellent job, and I would like to see how well he follows through his statements.
PS: The President still looks so cute. ^_~

RE: Axis and Allies victory 101 (basicly how to win)
I find out that the key to winning Axis and Allies, at least in my mind, is always to leave yourself open to new suggestions. Never confine yourself in the same set plan and do not become predictable. Versatility means able to strike at multiple points or respond in a multiple number of ways. I think I covered this before in TG and my “Theories on ATB [Active Time Battle].” In short ATB means utilizing each of your units to the utmost effectiveness and always on the move. This causes the opponent to second-guess what you are going to do next. Another theory I am trying to test in “VATB,” which stands for Variable Active Time Battle. VATB is different from standard ATB because it has more to do with purchases. Same story, always make your purchases flexible and free. Right now I am using a “VATB Bomber Wing Flux” Strategy or as TG calls it, “Bomber Push supported by Infantry.” Bomber Wing Flux is a strategy developed by the Allies to hold the Axis with infantry and pound their economy with strategic bombing raids. The key is to make sure that your total I.P.C. base is higher than the Axis’s, with Strategic Bomb giving additional damage. What I love about bombers, and why they make such great ATB units, is that they can be used for a variety of task. The main draw of a bomber is the ability to strategic bomb, but I have found that, due to their great range, bombers can accomplish many secondary tasks. An effective way of shutting down Japan in the East is to continually trade the three territories surrounding Russia using infantry supported by bombers. That way you do not waste valuable tanks. I found this a great way of buying the rest of my Allies times to deliver the final blow.
