      I thought I had a good story and then I read some others and realized this is nothing. I’ve had crazy odds ofc but this one really hurt me. First game trying out the cruisers with 2 AA shots and after a very successful Taranto raid and not much of a Italian counter, the UK is set to clear out the med round 2. But both of the cruisers AA shot a hit leaving the UK with no planes or a single fighter in the med with Germany poised to do a Sealion where there’s only 2 fighters in the UK. This is why you buy heavy for London UK1. The Allies lost pretty bad because Italy took over the Med quite well and Germany easily took London G3.

      Another page also mentions that if you liberate France for example the French have to pay 20 IPCs if they want to get a major complex

      It does not automatically go back to a major

      I agree that it is heavy Axis unbalanced, some say the US has to focus all in Europe and then the Axis can’t win but if they do so Japan becomes soooo strong and then it’s simply a game of numbers, you can’t compete with Japan’s economy and China, UK, and Anzac can’t really fight back much, they just try not to die quickly.

      @andrewaagamer I definitely agree, I was horrible at playing the Axis but it just took a few games and some new strays to see the unbalance. And I too don’t like nerfing strat bombers because it seems to unbalance it more.

      @victoryfirst that’s similar to my strategy and I really like it. I like to do some of Tan Skies with GHGs middle earth and then Russia retreating back. And the US just causing issues to the West. Ofc they also need to put up a fight against Japan I like them to build up a large navy and strat bomber force around Europe. With Middle Earth, defending Cairo and Calcutta is very easy, and fighters can get up to Moscow in a single turn from Persia with Tanks/Mechs taking 2 turns. Seems to work quite well because if the Europe Axis can’t take London or Cairo they can’t win and if Japan can’t take Calcutta or Honolulu they can’t win.

      @hbg-gw-enthusiast I don’t play this game by based off my interpretation of the rules and other games I assume you have to place them. This is likely done to prevent you from placing giant stacks of battleships or something at the same time
