Hey guys, I really just got into A&A over covid but I really wanted to play it beforehand, just never got a chance. I fell in love with classic and now I’ve bought G40 and D day. I will also get triple A soon. It was such a good feeling to find this website because it answered so many questions I had about rules and opened up so many more possibilities for my gaming.

@kiwi I too started off on Classic ( but in 2020:) lol) and then I jumped to Global 1940. I loved it because I always wanted more naval build options than Classic offered, and then I fell in love with the addition of more ground troops, tactical bombers, political rules, and national objectives. It is a big jump, but very manageable. Plus it’s arguably the most popular version right now, close to anniversary.

@barnee Thanks for the advice. I really like the research facility idea there. The other is also really cool especially that you can buy it on HBG but my games never last that long so it wouldn’t work that well.

@Myygames Hey so incredibly sorry I’m just seeing this. I got busy the last month and put this aside and never thought about it. I agree that you were trending towards a victory, perhaps that’s why I didn’t think about it haha. Thanks for a great game, maybe after the summer I’ll get back into it. Sorry for my poor communication.

@cwglee51 It feels so early in the game still, but I think I’m going to have to call it here. I do believe that I can take Russia, but you have played the Pacific well by shutting down Japan. The allies also are starting to make the European push and I just don’t have the money or units to compete.

Although I do not have access to my PC that I was using for our game as I’m not at my dorm anymore, do you by chance know if I can download the older version we are playing on this computer and switch back and forth?
