      Hi Tigerman,

      Can you built more than 3 german ships in seazone 18 (Stettin)? Because of the adjacent industriel complex of western Germany, which is also connected to seazone 18 and the harbor in Stettin!

      If you can, the new Position of the UK Home Fleet in seazone 14 is not save against german attacks in second Impulse of turn 1.
      If you cannot, UK e.g. can only built ships in seazone 47 (if built an Minor IC in Cairo) but not in seazone 64 (Red Sea). Is that correct???

      Thanks LM. The 39 game started by chance but has grown into a great A&A style game. I may have started the process but I have to give a lot of credit to this forum, coachofmany, variable, an the Tulsa A&A team. I had an idea to make my own epic game but coach had a bigger idea!  He really should get the credit for making this game available to everyone. There are a few other guys on the forum that put in some work also…you know who you are.

      I think if Denmark is neutral then the straights should be open to any country. Germany should take Denmark to keep the UK fleet from entering….I will add this in my 6.1 rules coming out this weekend.

      I could be wrong but we always allowed German planes to land in captured territories during 1st impulse.  Usually helps with the Invasion of Poland.

      Planes can not land in a zone that has been taken on that same turn. The German double impulse is still considereed 1 turn. If Denmark is taken on the first impulse the straits are open because it is under German control. Try playing with the optional Air base and Naval base rules. This will change the strategies of all the countries but plays more realistic in my opinion.

      No, Italy is considered neutral until either Paris falls, Germany invades Russia or they are attacked by an allied country.

      Looking forward to trying the new 6.0 rules.  One quick question though.  I noticed there are no longer any maximum build restrictions on the special units for each nation like there were in the previous rules.  Just wanted to verify if those restrictions have been lifted and you can build as many as you like or if the restrictions were omitted accidentally.  Thanks in the advance.  Awesome game!  Thanks for all the hard work as my group really enjoys it.

      All special units have no production limits now except for how many can be produced per turn.

      Hey guys,

      All the changes that were made were to address concerns of game balance. For example making the Italian navy a bit smaller and putting the Brits navy outside of a G1 attack. All the changes that were made are not mine solely but from multiple Playtests with other groups. Play a few games first and see what happens. I’m sure there will be a v7.0 in about 6 moths to a year.

      Sorry about the wait guys!  The rules are done and will be posted soon. If you find any ‘bugs’ in the rules please post the rule in question and a possible fix. There is also some setup changes that should help balance the game out more. Again sorry for the delay.

      I have had the game for 3 years and just played 2 games in the last week. I didn’t like the change in the rules at first, BUT now I think it is the best of the battle games. I think a larger campaign style game could run off of these game mechanics and be quite fun.

      The only way to get a PDF file is to have a map customized and changed.

      Yes the weather is always tough on the Germs. Have you finalized rules for generals?

      . The general rules are done. You will need a unit or marker to represent each general.

      You get them from board game geek.  Version 5.1, dated November 3, 2012.  For whatever reason, you can only get to the most recent rules by clicking on the May 24, 2012 rules (updates version 5.0) link.

      Yes, this is correct. For some reason, BGG format forces me to post the rules in this way. I was rejected for trying to give the 5.1 it’s own listing  :?

      6.0 due out soon as you know. Tiger is still chugging along between 12 hour days at his regular job.

      This is true. Next week should be back to normal at my day job and I should have more time to play test the 6.0 revisions.
