@shadowhawk but then you would need to utilize more aircraft which you couldn’t use against the British navy and you would be more likely to lose more higher valuable units (mechs suck to lose more than infantry for example)

RE: G1 Taking all of France
@SuperbattleshipYamato nobody plays low luck so don’t use that as any standard of play please

RE: Italy active on turn 1... What?
@AdmirlScuttlebut a turn 1 invasion of Italy by AH is not a standard move by any means. I used to think so but then again CP used to lose most of the games. The standard move is for AH to crush Serbia and Romania turn 1 focusing their army towards Russia - not towards fighting Italy. It’s easier to fight defensively against the Italians in the early turns and better to focus down Russia, you’ll need the units I promise !

RE: WW1 1914 Balance Recommendation
@SuperbattleshipYamato turn 4 not turn 3 and I don’t buy it. Sorry.

RE: List of global 36 players?
@MajorJoey yea I realized it was just a funky font but cool.
And you’re welcome. -
RE: Revisiting G2 Barbarossa
@Radar how do you figure 10 more units for Russia ? I’ve played this through myself. G6 was the better option.

RE: List of global 36 players?
@MajorJoey I didn’t see anyone by Major Joey join the server. What’s your screen name?

RE: Revisiting G2 Barbarossa
@kyle47 here’s your issue max attack Vs max defense for a G5 assault doesn’t capture Moscow. A G6 attack on Moscow is a much better plan which gets more German units to Moscow than soviet .

RE: Thank you!
@crockett36 I’m sorry but balanced mod is much better than OOB. Andrew should do as he likes though.

RE: 👋 Introduce or Re-Introduce Yourself (Current)
@Draginfut so that game is actually just called G40 or Global 40. Not to be confused with the global war series of games by Historical Board Gaming.

RE: Global 1936 A&A Alternate History Scenario (Southern Victory Series Inspired)

RE: Why is surrender not an option in the original game?
@SuperbattleshipYamato the game you made TGC play you out to final victory conditions and he ended up building a huge stack of Battleships and took paris and killed your Atlantic fleet because he didn’t actually need to build ground troops anymore? Sounds boring I’m sure the signs were there that you were losing many rounds before the actual end.

RE: Why is surrender not an option in the original game?
@shadowhawk li
Lol… that’s exactly what happens if you surrender- it means you lose the game. -
RE: Why is surrender not an option in the original game?
@SuperbattleshipYamato you can surrender and you should when you have no hope of victory. I will consider you an ass if you make me play it out to full.

RE: Why is surrender not an option in the original game?
@SuperbattleshipYamato I’m sorry but this sounds really lame and unfun.

RE: Bonus Movement is Unrealistic Nonsense
@shadowhawk
Abstract means unclear - not the same …. So you can’t expect an abstract distance from London to NY to be the same as an abstract distance from San Fran to midway or whatever you wanted to compare distances. You can’t argue to have the same abstract anything. -
RE: Bonus Movement is Unrealistic Nonsense
@surfer 💯! Very well put sir!
