    • RE: House rule: Second Admendment

@trig the US already has a rule about placing land units in home country when attacked. not necessary at all.

    • RE: Thoughts on invading neutrals?

@tamer-of-beasts the edits arent too bad. tripleA won’t let you keep units in the same territory as your enemy without rolling combat so you have to edit your guys out and usually replace them with “true neutral” units so that combat wont be rolled in that contested territory where you just want to play defense. also the engine doesnt allow for the subs to submerge past round 1 when they are the defending unit. also tripleA without editing doesnt let you move your fighter 2 spaces through an enemy force or across a seazone (UK to picardy for example).

more like putting russia on a fast and easy track to revolution… which will make those units in or next to constantinople surrender immediately.

    • RE: L20 Bretters Axis VS Oysteilo Allies +14 BM3

@oysteilo ok… next time i would post the turn summary after each individual nation or save the game after each nation so you will be able to go back and edit / redo only a single nations turn. aka. you have done US/China no problem - now you move to UK and have a problem but you didnt save or post US/China turn so now you have to redo everything. but if you saved after china… not as big of a deal.

    • RE: House rule: Mongolia

@chris_henry taking mongolia is just too easy of a grab for the extra $ for USSR plus it helps the CCP by having territory adjacent to USSR. its simple and doesn’t require many units.

    • RE: USSR Declaration of War V3

@insanehoshi as stated the only restriction is July ‘39 for USSR to make a DOW. The thing is that their income does not automatically jump to full income unless they have been declared war against or they have rolled high enough dice in sleeping bear income rolls and/or peacetime income increases. Russia doesn’t want to fight a large war without most of its income available to purchase units!

    • RE: Terrains modifiers that affect land units movements

@hbg-gw-enthusiast hmm okay rivers rules read a bit differently than mountain rules. So that would mean there is no penalty when crossing the River in Southern France IF friendly before combat moves.

    • RE: Using Aircraft More Than Once in a Turn

@noneshallpass said in Using Aircraft More Than Once in a Turn:

but since all three attacks are essentially taking place simultaneously, you would have to decide where your fighter will go : either you intercept the Strategic bombing (rule 9.16 - table 9-9) or the Carpet bombing (rule 9.17) or take part in the land battle. Since interception is at a reduced value, it mostly makes sense to use it for the land battle.
You do get to wait until all combat movements have been announced before you declare (see Clarifying Ordering Effets on page 37).
