      Messed up non-combat, so I had to redo turn. I added back the fighter you lost in the second battle, as it survived the first one. Other fight was the same.

      Well, once I finally got the new TripleA to work, and I see the map, I will surrender. It’s turned into an economic war, and I’m already on the losing end. Good game.

      US only has Minor IC until at war, when they automatically upgrade.
      Should have bought 3 expensive ships, that is all.

      Oh yes, I remember now. Last (and first) game I played, US was at war on it’s first turn, so they had the upgrade on their turn. That’s why I forgot about that.

      I will use your second post.

      My turn will have to come later today; don’t have time to finish my turn in one sitting right now.

      Morning. I forgot the Americans could only  build 3 units in the Pacific, so I have more navy in the Atlantic than I wanted. Not a problem, just a surprise.
      I believe I have done things right(because of the Scrambling complication with 1940), so would you like to scramble from Italy?
      I believe I have done the standard Taranto:CV, DD, CR, Ft, Tac and Bomber.

      Hmm, I didn’t realize US had a build limit in the Pacific. I really should reread some of the G40 rules next time. :lol:

      No scrambles for me; I’ll end up losing my airforce if I tried that.

      Well you could move 1 step forward capturing a contry and then move 1 step back. Sort of capturing a country without actualy ending up there.

      You can do that during the combat phase anyway, so long there are no units there.
