US only has Minor IC until at war, when they automatically upgrade.
Should have bought 3 expensive ships, that is all.Oh yes, I remember now. Last (and first) game I played, US was at war on it’s first turn, so they had the upgrade on their turn. That’s why I forgot about that.

I believe I have done things right(because of the Scrambling complication with 1940), so would you like to scramble from Italy?
I believe I have done the standard Taranto:CV, DD, CR, Ft, Tac and Bomber.Hmm, I didn’t realize US had a build limit in the Pacific. I really should reread some of the G40 rules next time. :lol:
No scrambles for me; I’ll end up losing my airforce if I tried that.

Well you could move 1 step forward capturing a contry and then move 1 step back. Sort of capturing a country without actualy ending up there.
You can do that during the combat phase anyway, so long there are no units there.
