      Well, the interface on GTO is much nicer looking, easier to use, and you don’t have to download multiple things to play. ;) (Just the one game you are play atm.)

      Besides, it’s $4 a month to play as many games as you want to.

      So that’s why I play on GTO. I thought I would share it here.

      So, what to do with a hypothetical big Russian stack in Istanbul?  remove the units and then who controls Istanbul?

      No one. It would be left open for any power to claim back.

      GameTableOnline will be adding AA50 to it’s list of games you can play at the end of the month, after they finish updating their site.

      Well then the isolationism rule only needs changed slightly.
      Major point: keep it simple.
      Forbidding movement is something a 3rd grader can understand. One time draft of cheap one time infantry is more complicated.

      Its also more logical, but over complicated.
      Why not just disallow movement and let them build normally.

      That’s exactly what I’m going to implement. This and modified Post-Russian-Revolution Rules are the only house rules I’m going to implement, as they are simple and what really should have been done. (I don’t like to houserule anything, btw.)

      (Btw, for Post-Revolution, once outside territories are emptied of Russians, it remains open for figures to take them without any resistance. Much like any empty territory.)

      Here’s an idea Shakespeare; stop stealing the Admin’s show and actually ASK him if you can post such information.

      You know, he runs this site, puts in the effort to show us everything, and then someone comes along and spoils his work. Not very nice.

      I agree.

      But brown is a shade of orange, so it’s understandable why it looks either way depending on the lighting.

      It has the largest amount of dice that has been released for A&A. That speaks for something.

      Furthermore, if you preorder, the game is cheaper.

      It’s worth its cost that way.

      Aren’t the French the same color in both games though?

      Saw that this wasn’t answered.

      The WWI are Dark Blue, while the WWII are Light Blue.

      The Dark Blue actually sounds really good as Vichy French.

      The worst part about this game so far that’s it’s not released yet.  :wink: :-(

      Or, more accurately, it will be released after my Spring Break passes over. So no long stretches of gameplay for me.  :|

      I believe the rules around territory control cover this. When Russia leaves (no units), they lose control.

      Another thought on the “Russian Controlled” question:

      What happens if Germany had attacked Holland, which had been given to Russia to control. Russian units are placed, but are all eliminated by the German attack. The Allies then liberate it, and presumably it remains Russian controlled despite there being no Russian units in the west.

      The CPs cannot attack Holland because it is “Russian Controlled”, but the Allies can build up a mega-stack there to invade Kiel with complete impunity.

      Presumably this also applies to Serbia and Romania; if the Allies capture these tts just once post revolution, they must revert to Russian Control and, once more, become immune to CP attacks.

      I think they’d better think it out again…

      I’m also struggling to see the purpose of SZ 30 (Caspian).

      Well, at least they gave is a sz designation unlike the other A&A games. (G40, notably, since you are even allowed to build units in it.)
