@VictoryFirst In this case, since all the reinforcement zones are covered by allied fighters, we will leave this alone for now but in the future, the maximum amount of units you can order into a zone is 8. All moves are declared first and then strafes are rolled.
You cannot send units in one at a time and observe the result of the strafe before moving on. You cannot move ten units into a territory even if two are destroyed by strafes.

RE: D-Day, TGC (Allies) vs VictoryFirst (German)posted in Play Boardgames
I just caught this but in cases where there are more than one fighter over the territory, we have to use the dicebot. The TripleA will never roll more than one dice per unit on strafes. This is fine in territories with one fighter but in territories with two fighters, its best to use the dice bot.
So for example in this last turn, the Allies should have had one more roll from their fighter in the G10 space before rolling for combat. Let’s just get this one out of the way now (if its okay with you):
G10 pre-combat strafe: [dice 1d6]

@VictoryFirst so it looks like all the extra strafes missed so no worries there. My recommendation: edit the pieces adjacent to the territory you want them to enter and move into the territory (since its still your “non combat movement phase” when you’re placing reinforcements).
Then roll dicebot dice for each unit that survived after the first fighter (if there was more than one fighter over the territory).
Sorry about the confusion. It gets easier, I promise.

RE: D-Day, TGC (Allies) vs VictoryFirst (German)posted in Play Boardgames
@VictoryFirst just a heads up: I just noticed that splitting combat moves from non combat moves. This game is exactly like 1914 - all moves are done on the same phase. The non-combat move is only to pull the units out of “combat” run new units onto the board.
Finally, if there is no fighter over the reinforcement zone, you don’t need to declare the move if you dont want to.
Otherwise, everything looks good!

@VictoryFirst awesome! Sounds great. A4 final has been posted so you can roll for reinforcements when you’re ready.

@VictoryFirst no rush at all - I was just tuning up a classic game and saw your guys’ game going. I know SuperbattleshipYamato very well. Really cool to see you guys duking it out in 1914.

@DoManMacgee said in Douche V. Kwas:
@kwaspek104 GG. Had some bad rolls in the Atlantic and blatantly missed the extra 2 Tanks from Romania that were able to make it to the big Belorussia battle. Hope to give it another whirl soon!
I was wondering what happened there. Got it. Yeah that was definitely an interesting game - and imo this game deserves a better reputation than it got. @kwaspek104 you got to try your sub strat lol, nice!

Round 9 aggregate game dice results: Allies +7.84 actual, -1.83 Low Luck (Reinforcements -1) // Axis +8.7 actual, +2 Low Luck (Reinforcements +0)
GG that’s a German win. Pretty close game too. Had just a few dice gone differently, I think it could have gone either way. Would you like to go again?

RE: D-Day, TGC (Allies) vs VictoryFirst (German)posted in Play Boardgames
@VictoryFirst the dice results are something ive done for the past 10 games or so. “Low Luck” is the sum of combat power divided by six - same as in every version of TripleA.
“Actual” is my own, personal method of measuring against the spam of so many dice that hit at “1”. I sum them and divide by 8 to account for the “Low Luck Lie” mentioned in the video I recently released.
The Low Luck result was closer to zero and better reflects our game - this means the ones hit closer to their par result. This likely account for why our game was so close. In most games, the “actual” results are closer to zero and the Low Luck results are usually negative for the allies.
I don’t mean to clutter our thread but that’s what its for and its basically for my own research purposes. This game hit close to “low luck” probabilities but leaned German so it shouldn’t be surprising to see a German win.
Which side did you want in our next game?

@VictoryFirst I use the same term - I like to say “games” as well. And yes this was not a good turn for the Allies at all. Your math is correct except the total strafes for this turn was 20 as you had two infantry move earlier that also passed the strafe so very lucky:
Round 1 - Allies Actual: -1, LL: -3.5, +0 Reinforcement // German Actual: +3.11, LL: +2.66, +4 Reinforcement

Round 4:

German Actual: +5.5, LL: +4.16, Reinforcement +11 -

@VictoryFirst
casualty selection? the other two battles were fought and only st lo remains here. The reason I ask is bc to add new pieces in means running through three fighters first. anyway, how would you like them?
