I am an Apple IOS user. I understand that TripleA is solely PC. Is there anyway to play via IOS on the forum? I believe TTP is PC as well.

Looking for someone to play to get acclimated to TripleA. I have version 2.7. Global 1940 2nd Ed. This will be my first time playing through TripleA.

@bakerbei I thought the Nimitz card was great for Global until you read the booklet and it says it doesn’t apply to seazones w/ naval bases. Which makes it really not that effective since most of the game you are staging and protecting naval bases. I think it would be really interesting if it let you get the 4th movement point. In fact I think I am going to just ignore the booklet rule and allow the Nimitz card to use the naval bases.

Keep in mind that a neutral crush will nullify the Sweden NO for Germany. Attacking both Normandy and Southern France creates better odds for a wild Paris battle. When Japan Dow’s needs to be stated in regards if US is in the war or not round 1. Round one buys for UK and Germany need to be stated. Things to consider with this.

I posted in the other Find Player forum and received no reply. I suppose I could just dive into a league game. Looking to play G40 OOB if anyone is interested. I have TripleA 2.7, this will be my first game by forum.

@dazedwit my biggest concern with any neutral axis take is giving up Afghanistan to the allies. Specifically that allows them to move planes to and from Russia and India in a turn. That in my experience becomes a tough thing to deal with. Just my two cents. Will watch and see how it turns out.

@gamerman01 Thank very much! I am enjoying it tremendously. I haven’t played global in 10 years vs another person and my first opponent is Andrew! So, I am more than likely going to end up in the loser’s column to start lol. @AndrewAAGamer has been great so far truth be told, first class. I am just happy to get my feet wet with TripleA. Have been playing AAO lately for the longest time and wanted to switch back to this. Thanks for all that you do here @gamerman01.

@zlefin Interesting test. I think if you look at the league games in the forum I think the Yunnan save bid is 2 fighters Russia and 1 inf in Yunnan. Placement being in Russia and Volgograd. So typically there are 4 aircraft in Yunnan which pretty much makes it unassailable even if you bring the Bombers in from Tokyo. I have been testing bids as well for KGF/KIF strats. I will post them in this thread when I am done testing some of them.

@dazedwit I am trying to wrap my head around this. Round 1 France, the 1 French Legionnaire in Syria took on 8 Turkish troops and won? Or did you attack with UK round one and walked in with the Frenchman?
