      I have created a sheet for entering in battle results such as:

      Land Defence
      Land Attack
      Naval Attack
      Naval Def

      It will tell you the overall percentage of your results and of your team and the 3 different neutrals.

      I also hope to add an IPC loss and Gain based on units that were lost in battle so for example:

      I lost 3 inf and 1 arm
      you lost 5 inf and 1 fig

      I lose 15 IPC worth of units you lost 25 so my battle gain is +10 ipc worth of units your loss is 10 ipc worth of units

      I’m wondering if a power loses its capital and then captures another power’s capital where do the IPCs go?

      Because the 1st team lost their capital and IPCS
      second team lost their capital and IPC but first team can’t have any IPC because they don’t have their capital

      Would the power that captured the 1st teams capitl get their IPC?

      See page 20 AAEurope 1940 second paragraph under the “Capturing and Liberating Capitals” section, last sentence: “You collect these IPCs even if your own capital is in enemy hands.”

      Note: Not an official answer, just trying to help.

      Yes, Italy took france, but Germany lost too much ground forces and misses 17 french IPC’s.

      Not really. He transported an inf and tank from Albania to North Italy and then moved them to France, which is illegal. Thus, I redoed the battle without the inf and tank, and am awaiting his decision on whether to continue

      I did not realise this and I will re-do the battle.

      I already redid the first round. Feel free to use your 2 transports to invade other areas if you wish

      Would have? No reason for this past tense phrasing.  Any person who is abnormally fixated on nothing but gearing up the number of posts by hook or crook has many sock puppet accounts.

      Yes, and there’s a good reason for that. There’s no simple way to do the neutral situation without it being abused, so the OOB version tends towards making attacking true neutrals a rare option

      G '40 or AAR or AA50 or AA42
      Guadalcanal
      D-Day
      Battle of the Bulge

      When America attacks Solomon Islands rather than having a normal battle play Guadalcanal
      When America/UK attacks Normandy or France with and Amphibous play D-Day
      When Germany launchs a counter attack against a ally controlled France that has been liberated play Battle of the Bulge

      The winner of these ‘Mini games’ takes control of the teritory

      I have read that AAG40 takes a long time to play but this will beat that easily. Remember that not all of the games have the same pieces so if you try Guadalcanal with Revised you will not have a cruiser in Revised.

      You can add the piece from other game sets or remove it from Guadlacanal

      In my first Europe game, the Allies won after 16 rounds.  When the US liberated France, giving them 4 extra men and their economy back, they did help by attacking and taking Western Germany.  The next round, USA was able to move through Western Germany and take Berlin.  Germany was not able to properly defend it’s territories, even Germany itself, because of so much stuff committed to the Eastern Front.  Moscow did eventually fall, but it took Germany a long time to get there and cost them a ton of units in the process.  Plus, the very round Moscow fell, the US took Berlin.
      One strange thing about this game was that London was never liberated.  Once Germany took London, they built a strong force of infantry there and the US decided to bypass that to take Rome, liberate Paris and go after Berlin.  The German navy was decimated and the Atlantic was totally controlled by the US so all those troops on England were pretty much stuck there.  On the very last round, after taking Berlin, the US had enough forces left in the area and they liberated London.  Technically the game was over though because the final German round to see if they could retake their capital had passed.  It was really impossible for the Germans to retake Berlin because what was left of their forces were way east in Russia.
      In my second Europe game, the Axis won in 8 rounds.  So with those two games, it kind of goes along with history.  Shorter game/war, Axis victory.  Longer game/war, Allied victory.  One big thing that did the Axis in was that they were planning on a short, quick war to achieve their goals.  When the war dragged out, the greater Allied industrial and mineral resources told.

      I just posted this on another thread. What if the Allies go KFJ right from the beginning of the game?

      On R1 Russia declares war on Japan moves its 6 inf from Buryatia to take Korea and sends its planes/armor to the Far East. The US moves all its units from Eastern/Central US to Hawaii/Western US and spends all 52 IPCs on the Pacific then Japan will have a long hill to climb.
      It will have to deal with a reinforced US fleet, with the Russians/Chinese pressuring from the north and China plus the UK/ANZAC, while trying to capture the DEI and defend SZ6.

      Of course it all depends on how the Axis will respond to this threat but from round 3 onwards the US can start sending units to the UK/Europe/Africa to try to contain Germany/Italy.

      Map nearing completion

      A few rules different from normal A&A

      The only units that can shoot down planes are AA, Art, Planes and BB

      The original setup is

      Every power starts with 200 Ipc of which 40 must be spent on air units, 40 must be spent on land units and 40 must be spent on naval units.

      If Tasmania is added they start with 250 ipc of which 50 must be spent on each type of unit

      Tow in you need to control

      either
      6,7,8 Vcs of which one must be in NZ
      9,10 Vcs of which 2 must be in NZ
      11 of which three must be in NZ

      Next round you always get extra units but because they were the best Attacker/Defender last game they get extra units next turn.
