How can a villian be from America Jr.?

From a fellow Canadian I would just like to say FO!

      Stay classy Great White North.

At least we never endorsed slave labour

Now explain to me how this has anything to do with the discussion at hand?

Nothing really. But this was another useless poll created by Megastein (Or whatever his name is) That died about half a page ago

    • RE: Axis&Allies Express: EAST AFRICA

Like what Sun Tzu is doing with Japanese islands

He could put all island games in a box and it would be a campiagn.

Obviously these would not be sold. Or if they were the would not be called Axis and Allies Express because of copyright reasons

Also is anyone make a game based on Kokoda?

      @Croesus:

      @The:

Nice work. Maybe we could combine East Africa Syria/Iraq and El Alamien into a campiagn Such as The Middle Eastern/african campiagn

That might work, but That would
      A) Have to be a monstrous game
      B) no longer really be express
      C) I still love My East Africa campaign and the new proposed game will only be in addition to the games

How do you use the dicey, I tried to start a game earlier couldn’t figure it out

What I meant was that it was like a box set. With three games in it

So you would buy the AAX African/Middle Eastern campiagn box set and they would get:

      AAX East Africa
AAX 2nd battle of El Alamien
      AAX Operation Exporter

    • DF's G40 supply Rules

One of the major factors in wars is how fast you can get supplies to your troops. Look at Napoleon’s attack on Russia he was drawn into the motherland and so his supply lines were to far away and so lost. Look at North Africa the Allies attacked Rommel’s supply lines and so he had problems supplying his troops and without supplies Moral goes down. Because of this should there not be supply rules for G40 the biggest most complex version of AAA so far. With this being so complex these supply line rules will be KISS.

A few notes before we start

      1. No these won’t be as complex as my Historical Commander rules
      2. These will involve using FMG trucks(or other form of mechanical support) (as supply trucks) or you can use BotB(which only have German and American.)

For each unit there is a different supply cost (These will be edited after play testing)

Every turn pay the # for each one of a unit you have

      Infantry: 1
      Mechanized infantry: 2
      Artillery: 1
      Armour: 2
      Trucks: 1
      Fighter: 2
      Tact: 2
      Bomber: 3
      Air transport: 2
      Transport: 1
      Submarine: 1 (Special sub rules)
      Destroyer: 2
      Cruiser: 2
      Battleship: 3
      Aircraft carrier: 2

For every IPC you earn you gain 3 Supplies at the end of every turn(may be edited after play testing)

If your land units are in a territory with a Mnr or Mjr Factory you don’t have to pay the units supply cost
If your air units are in a territory containing a air base you don’t have to pay the unit supply cost
If you Sea units are in a seazone bordering a Naval base you don’t have to pay the unit supply cost

A sea, land or air transport may carry a maximum of 6 supplies You can use these supplies to may the units supply cost or other supplies.

If a sub submerges the supply cost is 1 per turn and if you don’t have enough supplies to keep it submerged you must move up to the surface

If a unit has zero supplies it:
      Can’t move
      Can’t attack
Can defend but at 1 less (Bombers and Subs have no Defence value then)

If a unit needs 2 or 3 supplies and only has one it:
      Can’t attack
Can defend but at 1 less (bombers have no Def value)

If a unit needs 3 supplies but has 2 it:
      Can’t attack

If a unit is at negative 2 supplies it is removed from the game

      Any ideas welcome

      Complete Rommel

      Special unit type

Afrika Korps Armour att 4 def 3 Rommel often attacked when faced with enemy resistance hoping to suprise the enemy so they couldn’t attack his vulnerable flanks

      Early Rommel

Passive power (Used in every battle)
      Ghost Division
Due to the fast moving advances Rommel’s Panzer’s were often out of Radio Contact

In the first round of every battle involving Rommel and at least one German tank per tank roll one dice hitting at 1. For every hit one tank is able to fire a suprise shot against an enemy hitting at 3 or less (if firing in this round not allowed to fire in normal combat round)

      Active power (Used once)
      Attack on Lille
General Hoth placed the 5th panzer division under Rommel’s command for the assualt on Lille

Place a armour unit on the battle board for free attacking at normal stats and destroyed at the end of the turn.

Becomes Middle Rommel on G2 if in a North African territory or G3 in any other

      Middle Rommel

      Passive Power: Panzer warfare
Rommel was a master at using his tanks in the Dessert
For every two tanks on attack add +1 to one tank (excluding Afrika Korps general unit)

Active Power: Cunning Escape (only used once)
Rommel managed to make many daring escapes
Once during a defence Rommel may after 1 round of combat retreat all or some units (must include him and his special unit) All units are subject to retreating fire from the enemy units. Roll 1 dice hitting at 1 for each unit (including rommel) any units hit are destroyed

Becomes late Rommel at the end of G6

      Late Rommel

      Passive power: Normandy defences
Rommel set up many tank traps prior to D-Day around Normandy
On the 1st round of the each invasion of Normandy. Roll a dice hitting at 1 per tank in landing craft

Active power: Reserve forces (used once)
Rommel realised the need for reserve forces if there was a invasion
In the second round of an amphibious assault on either NWE or Normandy send 3 armour free armour into the battle. These are destroyed at the end of the battle

      @Cmdr:

For which game?  AAR or 2nd?

I mean for specifics, the “general” idea is a surprise strike.  In both games you sort of set up like you normal would for the Indian Ocean with some extra transports then hit W. USA/Alaska at the same time with units from Japan/Solomons. (Units your opponent thought were going into Russia/Australia-New Zealand.)

In either event, you’re only creating the option for KAF by slowing down just a little in KRF.  If America plays along, you can go crush them, if they see the trap and defend, well you always did want to go to Maui and Sydney, right?

AAR but All the other posts indicates its almost the same. But the same idea is there. My KAF suprises my opponents in AAR because the were used to me going through Africa or playing JTDTM. (Personally I don’t like JTDTM because it is so historically wrong but It seemed to work.) Now they always guard Alaska and So I take Africa and leave Germany to spend money on Sealion for a change or the Moscow tank drive

Cards was what I was thinking of doing with pictures of the battles during the time

Although I was thinking that all generals would be activated at the start of the war SU not included

      Middle Rommel would be

      Passive Power: Panzer warfare
Rommel was a master at using his tanks in the Dessert
For every two tanks on attack add +1 to one tank (excluding Afrika Korps general unit)

Active Power: Cunning Escape (only used once)
