The Global 1940 rules that you need are available for download on this forum.
Look for Europe 1940 and Pacific 1940. In those rulebooks you’ll find the rules for Global 1940.
You’ll find them at “Rules & Downloads” on the top of the frontpage.
Once you have studied these rules, we advice you to study the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion.

We have played A&A Revised since 2004.
Then we went to play A&A Global 1940 in 2010.
We suggest that you begin to study the Global 1940 rules since this A&A version is the most widely used.
And you will be able to find opponents more easily…
The basic game mechanisms in Revised and Global 1940 are the same.
There are a few changes here and there and a few more Nations, but the big picture is the same.
The game board (map) is the most significant difference - and it brings Axis & Allies to the next level.
Once you have studied and have become familiar with the Global 1940 rules - a new line of Axis & Allies Expansions are available to you.
And you’ll never run out of skillfull opponents from then on…

The revised German Army Boards can replace the German Army Boards at pg. 67 in the rulebook.
In Late 2019 the Veteran Members Group of the Danish Axis & Allies Foundation started working on the Global 1939 Expansion.
The Global 1939 Expansion is based on the OOB Global 1940 game.
This also means, that the Set Up for G39 is the same as the G40 OOB & G40 HRE - unless mentioned otherwise in the G39 rulebook & Set Up.
The G39 Expansion starts the game in Late 1939. This is 1 round before the OOB G40 game begins.
Introduction:
The Set Up for the G39 Expansion is based on Historical troop placements - as far as game play allows.
Also taken into account is the OOB Global 1940 Set Up, since the OOB G40 setup reflects the Military and Political situation in Early 1940 - as far as game play allows.
The G39 Expansion is an Optional Expansion Rule and is considered part of the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion.
The G39 Expansion features among other things:
The Global 1939 Expansion only concerns the Western hemisphere, since the Eastern hemisphere (Asia & Pacific) did not include massive battles on the same scale as in Europe during the period from Late 1939 to Early 1940.
We release the Global 1939 Expansion now (see below), with the recent rules & Set Up.
The final play testing is expected to end in Late 2025.

Remember:
1 round of play is 6 months. This concerns your time scale of 15 years of War which would require 30 rounds of play…
Instead of mentioning the rounds, we advice you to instead mention the Year & Season for each round.
Example: Early 1943 (instead of round 7).
This also reminds any viewer of the Historical timeline of World War II.

The 7th Northen European A & A Wiking Con is scheduled to begin in January 2026.
As soon as we know more, we’ll announce the exact dates.
All games during this event are OOB Axis & Allies Global 1940 games combined with the Axis & Allies Global 1940 HRE rules.
All Axis & Allies players that participate must be able to play with the Axis & Allies Global 1940 HRE rules.
Players who play with the Axis & Allies Global 1940 HRE rules for the first and second time during a Wiking Con event are playing with only a limited number of rules from the Axis & Allies Global 1940 HRE rules.

Concerning Elite Tank unit & Air Commander unit:
We are working on the SetUp for the Global 1943 Expansion concerning these units.
The task mostly concerns the Historical aspect.
One of our Veteran Members is a Historian and teaches History at the University of Copenhagen - and he is the leading developer for the Global 1943 Expansion SetUp.
If there will be any changes to Global 1943 SetUp, we expect to have it ready no later than August this year.

barnee has created this TripleA version, so he is able to guide you. After studing the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion rulebook, most players start training on TripleA before playing Face-to-Face on the game board.

Our Axis & Allies HQ is in a town called Næstved (Naestved) 65 kilometers south of Copenhagen.
All Tournaments are held in HQ.
It is 45 minutes by train, which goes directly from the Copenhagen International Airport to our HQ location.
If you want to join us, I will coordinate with our Axis & Allies members from Holland, so they can meet up with you in the Copenhagen International Airport and join you in the train as well.
We will pick up all of you at the train station in Næstved.
HQ is 1 kilometer from the train station.
The 6th Northern Europe A & A Wiking Con is scheduled to begin in Late 2025 (Late October or Early November) from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon.
All games that are played during this tournament is Global 1940 in conjunction with the Axis & Allies Global 1940 HRE Tournament Rules.
For players who participate for the first and second time, a limited number of the HRE rules are used, to make the game more managable.

The Danish Axis & Allies Foundation will refund parts of the travel costs for players outside Continental Europe.
