Thank you for your enthusiasm.

We would like to invite you to Denmark in the Autumn 2026.

All games during this event is one-on-one players. In other words; 1 player controls all Axis Nations and the other player controls all the Allied Nations.

A few things must be in order - no later than 20th July 2026 - before we can invite you.

1. You must be familiar with all rules and game mechanisms in the Axis & Allies Global 1940 game “Out Of Box” version.
   This means that you must have completed at least 2 games of the OOB version (1 game as the Allies and 1 game as the Axis) against at least one other player - either on TripleA or on game board.
   If you have already completed those 2 games (or more) - and are familiar with all these OOB rules, you can go to the next level.

2. Next level: You must be familiar with the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion rulebook (aka G40 HRE).
   You must complete at least 3 games with this expansion against at least one other player:
   1 game on TripleA and 2 games that both are FTF on a game board against at least one other player (or you could play all these 3 games on game board FTF).

3. The 2 (or 3) games that you play on the game board must be puplished and documented at the Global 1940 & 1943 Game Report thread with supporting pictures and text.
   You can use any of my own game reports as inspiration for your own game reports.

Once you have completed all those games (OOB and G40 HRE) our Axis & Allies Veterans Play Group will evaluate all game reports from players who would like to join the Autumn 2026 event - and then we’ll get back to you no later than 31st July 2026.

First you must study the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion rulebook.

Then you must practice both on game board and on TripleA.

We suggest that you complete at least 4 games before you sign up.
2 games as the Allies and 2 games as the Axis.

All games during this event (as well as the Wiking-Con Tournament events) are one-on-one - board game FTF.

The event is planned as an education event for new players concerning the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion.

The Danish Axis & Allies Association would like to invite Global 1940 players who live in Scandinavia and Europe - to Denmark for the Axis & Allies Global 1940 Expansion 2026 Autumn Event.

The event is scheduled for early or mid October 2026.

Travel costs to Denmark will be refunded in cash (Euro) upon arrival - all costs for accomodation etc. will be paid by the Danish Axis & Allies Association.

We have 8 seats available for this event.

We have attached the IPC Tracking Chart here below and also at pg. 1 in this thread.

The IPC Tracking Chart is quite useful and gives players an exact overview of the economic situation anytime during the game.

The chart should also be saved after each game in order to evaluate any game when a Strategic Plan needs either to be modified or revised for future games.

We advice all players on both sides to print and use the chart in each game - especially during FTF board games.

If the Japanese-Soviet Pact (Non-Agression Pact) is activated then Mongolia is considered a Strict Neutral on the same terms as any other Strict Neutral Nation.

Note:
The G40 Expansion Strict Neutrals also confirms this scenario (see below).

The Industrial Complex in Stalingrad (Volgograd) can move to another Original Soviet Territory - and still produce 6 Red Army Conscription Infantry units.

Note:
The IC cannot move and produce 6 RAC Infantry in the same turn.

We use magnetic tape on both Aircraft Carriers, Air units and Fligth stands.

Hi Panzer,

Concerning Landingcraft units:

You can use Landingcraft units as cannonfodder - and yes - they can be used as you described above as part of the attack on Egypt.

Important:
Landingcraft units have no Combat value - they cannot attack or defend. If Landingcraft units are the only surviving land units after all enemy units have been destroyed - and the enemy territory is not captured - your Landingcraft units are lost, since Egypt is Enemy Controlled.

This game mechanism is identical to a friendly territory - with friendly Landingcraft units - which is captured by enemy forces.

Rules Clarification: Concerning Military Victory:

If a Major Capital (Berlin, Moscow, Tokoy, Washington or London) is captured by the enemy - and this Capital is NOT liberated on or before the original owners next turn - then the War is over and a Military Victory has been achieved.

Remember:
Your own and all of your allied Major Capitals must be controlled by friendly forces in order to achieve a Military Victory.

The Winning Conditions are described in the G40 HRE rulebook at pg. 11.

Note:
Concerning Military Victory: One Round of PLay is completed when all Nations have each completed their turn - after a Major Capital has been captured by the enemy.

Example:
In Early 1945 Soviet forces capture Berlin (Germany).
If German forces do not liberate Berlin on the German players next turn (Late 1945) - or if any other Axis forces do not liberate Berlin before the German players next turn - then the Allies have achieved a Military Victory.

The Operation Felix-Steiner Expansion rule has been revised.

Due to the Revised SetUp for Strict Neutrals, the Felix-Steiner Operation has been revised accordingly.

At this point, the Felix-Steiner Expansion rule is not part of the Tournament rules.
