    • RE: HBG - Axis & Allies Parts/Accessories and Custom Piece Sets Store!

      @coachofmany:

Give us 10-14 Days to show you the current sets that are being worked on as well as Games that are also in line to be made. We all are very busy trying to gear up for Gencon and finish up Amerika as well as several other games, maps, sculpts, sets, ideas, etc. We appreciate all the excitement in the sets and pieces and HBG has spent much money and time to hopefully bring us up to the next level.

For the ones who attend Gencon, you will be able to see a sneak Peek at some other games and sculpts we are working on.

If it seems that we are all over the board is because we are, we are trying so many things and hope that our Customers jump on board.

We will have the new games show up on BGG as well as our website and also show the sets in line to produce.

I’m sorry if this has been asked and answered somewhere else.  I haven’t seen it.  Where at GenCon will you be setting up?  Will it be in the A&A ballroom?  A&A HQ?  Or will you be in the exhibitor hall?  I’ll be at GenCon Wednesday through Sunday, so I definitely want to see what you have and the sneak peaks you have to share!

    • RE: HBG Gaming Convention "Battlecon"

I’m pretty new to the A&A forums here, and I’m not an active A&A player (been away from it for several years), but this sounds like a fun gathering.  I’m in Wichita, so Tulsa’s a easy drive for me.  I hope I can make it!

I voted for the two weekends that are NOT Memorial Day weekend on account of the significance of Memorial Day itself.  My home town hosts a very respectful Memorial Day service that honors the local veterans, both living and deceased.  My dad, who served in the Navy in WWII, is now buried in that hometown cemetery.  I’ve always attended the services there.  This year I started helping with the parade of flags that are flown for the veterans buried there, a tradition I’m pretty likely to continue.

    • RE: GenCon 2013

I’m curious whether there are any A&A Miniatures retailers, sellers or dealers that are regular (frequent, recurring) exhibitors at GenCon?  There are a few individual capital ships i would like to pick up, but i don’t know whether any GC exhibitors sell individual, selected pieces.

      WOW!!  This looks absolutely fantastic!

I’ll be a backer and buy several copies of this alternate history game!  This is right in my wheelhouse!

      Best of luck!

    • RE: Wichita, KS players

      Hey there,

(partial cross-posting from the thread on the HBG Convention in Tulsa next year)

I’m a new member to the A&A messageboard (actually, I’m an former member of the messageboard whose account was still registered, but whose registered email is no longer valid, so I couldn’t effectively reset my password for the old user account)…

…and I’m located in Wichita, KS!  I haven’t played A&A for quite a while, as in 8 or 9 years, and my A&A experience is pretty dated, having only played the Milton Bradley A&A Classic version AND Imp Games’ East & West.  But I’d still be interested in seeing if we could put together an occasional game now and then.

…and I’m in Wichita, KS.  This convention sounds like a lot of fun and is close enough that I won’t have to take a week off to attend (GenCon, I’m looking at YOU).  I haven’t played A&A for quite a while, as in 8 or 9 years, and my A&A experience is pretty dated, having only played the Milton Bradley A&A Classic version AND Imp Games’ East & West.  But I’d still be interested in attending this convention if I can work it out.
