      @barnee I agree it is a beautiful board. And I like that it seems to be closer to realistic borders.
      That said, It’s an adjustment from the G40 map that I’ve played with for years. Not sure if I want to relearn it. Because although each boundary is faithfully connected in an identical manner as the G40 map, you have to revisit how things connect because they seem different visually, even though they aren’t in game play.

      With Norway I didnt see all the fighters could land there. I thought next round I conquer Norway back but it costs time and money, my sleep, more alkohol and cigarettes to get it back. Therefore I couldnt attack the russians and I was frightend that you conquer Russia back.

      @sovietishcat Thanks! GG. These 2 games have had a unique twist with the Russians trying to push into Japan early. I’m not sure if it was useful or not. The Japanese made short work of the Russians and it greatly helped the Germans as there was nothing to worry about from the East.

      But the Japanese were hamstrung for the rest of the game. I simply just built a regional power that seemed to shrink and grow fitfully. It did ensure that Japan did not DOW J1, but Japan always has a hard time winning the game (for me anyway). So I wonder what would have happened with a less aggressive Russian push. – Impossible to know, as the game would have completely different character. Strange how 1 move changes the game so much.
