Almost every Stat. works when you roll real good dice it’s when they dont go your way and you have to change because your winning game just turned into a losing game

By not spending your $ or very little of it on G1 then the Allies have to guess what your up to and if they guess wrong then you could take advantage of their move. Like what Garg said Leningrad and London would have to make deployments  to cover them selves, in the event that Germany on 2 could do to them (smash either one or both)

I see your point but it may be tough medicine to swallow for these guys after 28+ games. Next weekend I’ll have them read it aloud I think they’ll see it immediately. Everybody loves the 12$ regardless of where they get it from  kind of like a declaration of war stimulus plan for both

Tanks Jen I think we may have been miss reading the N. O.'s we give it to each country once war has broke out between the two powers  I just read it and it doesnt seem to be to open to diff interpretations. I’ll probably have to house rule that now, and the sad thing is that every round of every game we look at the chart multiple times

Just tried Stat bombing with ALPHA+2 for the first time last weekend. I lost one bomber but I cost the U.K. more than what I lost, I went in with 4 on London…… I controlled what they spent their money on  oops wrong thread
  WHAT ABOUT ALPHA+3 I WANT TO SEE WHAT IT IS THATS CHANGED TO MAKE SOMEONE MORE POWERFUL  I HOPE IT’S NOT MORE HISTORICAL THEN THE AXIS WOULD LOOSE EVERYTIME

I always attack Russia on J1 and get the 12$ one time deal  I like to get 2 subs and a couple of trans. or a destroyer and Inf or cruiser and save. On J2 I’ll buy a factory.
  Try to capture the Islands that are worth the most dollar wise and Nat. Obj. wise.
  I also go after China with everything I can on J1, J2, J3.
  The less money Russia has to spend the easier it is for Germany and Italy
There is only one country between Japan and Germany

The Allies won last nite. they had some real great dice, 100% hit ratios on offence and defence  Paris was one example  I didnt think I was going to get it  London was another I woulnt belive it if I heard or read that there was some 100% hit ratio. I saw it so I have to belive it they had real good rolls and the Allies needed a win.  The Axis rolled real good I think that on any other nite we would have had it, we had plenty of 70- 95% hit ratios , just totaly desimate teritories on your opening roll  we also had some real crap dice

I’ve downloaded some stuff ( actually my wife ) and I can get to maps and I cant find the one that looks like the Global set up. I’m new to the computer so I am extremely challenged.  I would like to play on line but I need some help

So here’s the Question How many ALPHA+2 games have you played , and what is the win lose ratio of Axis to Allied , not whether you won or lost, and do you pick your countries  or randomly draw them.

The Axis won last nite good game too many details to go into
  Tried splitting the money for U.S.A. it wasn’t a good idea in my opinion but I wasn’t America.  He did it by land values on the east board and the west board.
  Italy is the game changer do it right and victory is achievable, if something goes bad then good luck

Another Axis victory this weekend it was a good game. Team work, patience and some luckier rolls is what made the difference.  It was 2 on 2

On my pieces I’ve painted them differently with the U.K. you could get a sharpie any color and do their helmets or their rifle’s. Just an idea

Yes I have seen it on our board many times 2-3 of our 5-6 players dont go with a sea lion move its all Barbarossa. I would say it is very effective at having a better than 50% chance of Axis victory
  Round one deal with the Royal Navy and set up Italy to follow up Germany with reinforcements
  Round two hit Russia hard with Germany and Italy  oh yea Japan has to help
  Keep some Navy to deal with any threats the Allies come up with and for convoy raids

When I lived in Rochester I went to the game stores and found adds where people were looking for players and I contacted a few different groups until I found a few cool players from the different groups and started my own group.  It was also diff. people on diff. weekends or diff, nites
