The reason I noticed is maybe because of those small plastic bags they was packed in.
They where FULL PACKED of pieces/units.
I noticed the smell when I opened them.
Is this normal? I got plenty of mini soldiers 1/72 and never noticed this before.
And this was ONLY the US.Set!
I opened the units in my living room by the way.
Anyway, as I said, I’m very happy with the units and will surly order some more.
The units that are smelling I will wash and hopefully the smell will go away.

I ordered some pieces from HBG.
I really like them, very fine and detailed, way better then OOB pieces.
But they smell like sh*t, really. Anybody else noticed this?
It is the US.set, I ordered Marines, Axis Minor Set to, no problem, no smell.
But the US Set does smell. How are the pieces stored?
Has anyone tried to wash them? This is not a joke, this is serious.
If I had not known better, I would thought they maybe came straight from combat :-D
Anyway, the pieces are GREAT Coach and I will surly order more pieces!

I really would like a Russian Infantry with Winter Field Cap and winter uniform, since the OOB Infantry pieces already have helmets. Just my opinion. I also like the choice for SP Artillery, this should be the BM-13 on ZIS-6 truck model.

I have ordered both Italian Units and Combat Dice + Combat Dice Elite.
Will I receive Italian Units and Combat Dice now in the mail?, and the Elite Dice later?

This is how I would use the new Units that comes with the FMG pieces.
Generals : gives all units +1 first round in both attack and defense. Defender/casualties cannot fire back unless the defender also got a General. Generals can move both in CM and NCM, and have a movement of 4 (because generals moves by airplanes)
Truck : a transport piece. Can be used to transport up to two regular infantry, up to three spaces/aereas. Trucks do not attack, but defend on a one.
Another option for Trucks is to use them as Motorized Infantry and give them a movement of +1
Selfpropeled Artillery : Get a movement of only one. They where big and heavy. With a movement of two I feel they will be to strong. No one will buy Tanks anymore.

I think it is best that it is a specific, the quantity of each unit when ordering a set. So you know what a set actually includes of units. So we don’t end up like with the OOB pieces, there the quantity did vary, someone got 6 Tac Bombers, while others got 8 Tac Bombers and so on. I think this is very important. I don’t won’t to end up with example 10 infantry and 12 Transports. I want to know what a set does include/the count of each unit, so I know what to expect and paid for. It also would make it easier to order extra FMG pieces from Historical Bordgaming. Also, will these set still include a special surprise/units? Anyway, I really looking forward for the units and combat dice.

Then it seems I misunderstood it, I ordered one Classic Set and one German Elite + Canada dice Set. I thought that check the box meant it would include France + Anzac and the original Classic Set.
Is there a way to change this? I ordered as a guest, and I don’t won’t 12 Black German Combat Dice, I want 6 Grey Classic and 6 Black Elite German Dice. I don’t see why the Elite Set changing the German dice from grey to black.
At least you could offer the option to buy only the German Grey dice to.

The Classic Combat Dice Set do have the Grey Germany Dice?, but the new German Elite Dice is Black? What I want to buy/order is the Classic Combat Dice Set with Grey German Dice, and the new Elite Set with France, Anzac, Canada and German Elite Dice, the black one.

The Good News is REAL. They are completed… They are REALITY… Not just a dream anymore… Not just a “maybe IF”… The factory actually pulled through.
We are just waiting on them to ship to us, so we can fill our pre-orders.
Not sure if you have ever shipped 6 full skids weighing over 1000 lbs from China? Not easy or fast. We are working with a Freight forwarding company to get them here ASAP.
