      I think from the sides and back it’s possible. It just isn’t possible to armour those parts well enough against modern technology without it being too slow. So they just gave up in hope that with less armour a tank has superior mobility and can destroy the enemy before such a situation happens.

      I heard that good tankers never expose the sides or back, and if that happens you deserve to lose.

      Europe 1940 Second Edition Rulebook Page 22
      (If you are upgrading a minor industrial complex to a major one, you may still only mobilize up to 3 combat units from that industrial complex this Turn.)

      A good rule of thumb is that you can only do/use something based on its status at the very beginning of your Turn. Such as landing planes in a newly captured territory, going though a canal or using a Naval Base. At the beginning of your Turn the industrial complex is a minor thus only 3 units can be built.

      Who will win in this epic battle for the Black Sea?

      Turkish battlecruiser Yavuz, former World War 1 German battlecruiser Yavuz.

      Against Soviet battleship Parizhskaya Kommuna, an old World War 1 Tsarist era Gangut class battleship.

      Make sure to look up the specifications before making an assumption. Yavuz’s armour is quite thick for that generation’s battlecruiser.

      The usual discussion about how many of a unit does each piece represent.

      Each game’s scale is different, so what are your thoughts are how many of itself does each unit represent? An infantry unit, for example, is odd. It’s certainly not a field army but still too big for a division. It’s slightly too big for a corps though. Maybe two divisions work?

      What do you think for other units? Thank you!

      By the way, I find it ludicrous that the French Navy, that weak thing, somehow has more battleships than the second most powerful navy at the time, Germany. And France has the same amount of battleships as the Royal Navy, the top navy in the world. Crazy!

      Note that I still play with the physical board. Still prefer the physical versions, especially Global 1940. I liked 1942 online’s trailer though.
