    • RE: The debate

      @Lizardbaby:

      Except for a couple points Brother. #1 it’s the law. If the money comes from government funds you can’t “legally” keep people out. If the money comes from party funds they can. #2 Arn’t you the guy who wants debate? ;) Who does it help to silience the opposition? Do we get a better government?

      I concur. I could care less if a bunch of polo shirt wearing, conservative, needle-butt crackers wanted to scream out opposition at some Kerry rally. Let em. It’s their god given right.

    • RE: Vice-President Debate

      It doesn’t matter much. Dan Quayle got his a$$ handed to him in his debate and he got elected VP.

      Question: What the scariest thing I have ever seen?

      Answer: All the people at Burning Man.

    • RE: The debate

      I don’t think that one can “win” a debate. You can only lose. In this case, both had his high’s and low’s. However, Kerry laid down a better case. Bush only seemed to be gaining some momentum near the end.

      Doesn’t matter really. Whoever wins the election “won” the debate.

    • RE: Iraqi Elections

      Unfortunately, I think it will be several years before Iraq can have a successful and accurate election. Too much crime, corruption and hatred is stirring in that ravaged country and if people actually believe they will be having an election which at least requires debates, political stances and campaign representations, they are seriously mistaken.

    • RE: Favorite 80's-90's rock band….

      There are too many good bands from that time period:

      It could be anything from Faith No More to Black Flag. Too tough of a question to pin down with one answer.

      I am from the Corps. I will vote the Corps. The Marines ARE the ass kickers of the U.S. Armed forces. Anyone who says otherwise, doesn’t know the Corps. 8)

    • RE: GF hates the game

      @Desert:

      She hates the game! How can I further convince her of the legitimacy of the use of 3-12 hours with the boys. Of course, she’s always invited to keep us full of tasty snacks, but once she came and nearly destroyed the board. How do you guys keep the women at bay while you play. Maybe she just needs to try some of the varients…

      PS I don’t mean to be so sexist about only men playing A&A, but from my experience, they have been tremendously less interested… and if you are a female who loves the game… give me a call :wink:

      I got my X to play a few times. She didn’t mind.

      Sigh…… maybe I should get her back :wink:

    • RE: Michael Moore, Genius or Idiot?

      @Wargaming_nut:

      Does Moore remind anyone else of a grease-covered slug? ;)

      At least Rush has some credibility; he doesn’t outrightly lie. You can’t say the same about Moore.

      :lol: Wargaming_nut :lol:

      Actually, Moore has a spitting image twin who is the security guard at my bank.

      On a serious note, I don’t find Michael Moore to be a liar. I DO feel that he is notorious for taking quotes out of context to give out a different meaning.

      I saw F911 today and I must admit that there were certain parts of the film that I disagreed with. And as you already know from some of my posts, I am a left-winger from hell :evil: :wink: . However, there are some scenes of this film that everyone should at least learn from. It doesn’t matter how you stand politically. You have already decided your vote. So have I.

      This film will not impact people’s votes significantly. I saw what I expected and so did every Republican who saw it.

      Germany for me is the most fun. But I will admit that I like the challenge of playing the Allies (especially US).

      @F_alk:

      Star Wars including the Episodes I and II, or the only the classic (IV-VI)?
      Only classic: Star wars. Otherwise Star trek.

      You’re right, Falk. Episodes I and II do suck balls. But I still will remain a Star Wars fan. I only like the old, old, classic Star Treks but that’s it.

    • RE: Who believes in God?

      Many people (especially Christians) have the habit of interpereting the Bible in the literal sense. Adam and Eve to me probably never existed. What does exist, is their story. Something that the rest of us could learn from, whether or not you do believe in God. I think that the bible is full of myths. What I mean by “myth” is not the story being untrue but the effect on the people in which the story carries. You could read many Greek mythology stories and get a message from it no matter how unbelievable it seems. That is what the bible is to me. Just a bunch of stories which carry a message to its reader.

      The Bible is for fools, you say? In other words, any book which contains a possible lesson to learn, even if it is from something you can’t see or touch or requires some kind of faith to gain relation is wasteful?

      I feel sorry for you then. I know many of you. You like the writing on the cake so you know who’s birthday it is. You take everything literally……

      I know I have drunk alot of whisky and got alcohol poisoning.

      So, yeah. I do believe in God. There you go.

      Oh yeah and Yanny, ppl don’t believe in the Bible. They believe in God. The bible is a guideline. Nothing more. I don’t follow it to the t. Yet, I still believe in God.

    • RE: Top Ten posters

      @B.:

      Who cares about hoe many posters one have, I doubt that any of the top ten have wrote more than 1% of quality posts, that are really useful! If you doesn’t have any good thing to say then don’t, simple as that! The top ten are probably a bunch of loosers who lost self esteem and self respect!

      How about some character you spineless unsure morses (top 10)! You are nothing compared to my ponyboys! Says the cowboy him self! 8)

      That was not very polite. Who are you? The “poster police?” :-?
