AAA allows those ships that moved out of sz 6 at the beginning of the combat phase (but not used in the battle) to also move during the non-combat phase, so long as they still have movements left (i.e. they only moved one space during the combat phase to avoid the ensuing battle, and still have one of their two spaces left).

Is this a bug in AAA or is that actually a legal move. I’ve done it before and have seen others do it before, so I assumed it was legal, but maybe it’s not.

Does anyone know for sure?

Yes, it is a bug in TripleA - but it is stated in the game notes included with the map.

Good game, your play has improved. I didn’t think that Norway was a close battle, IPC swing wise. It can be reinforced also so I just thought you had to concede it.

Tell you what, how about you give me 14 IPC bid. You should still be able to kick my a$$ handily with that.  :lol:

Also, I won’t be able to play as consistently the next few days. My mom’s in town, and Tuesday I have to drive her home to Medicine Hat, so probably won’t be able to play at all between Tuesday and Thursday.

If that’s OK by you I’ll take a sub in sz 98, an artillery in Alexandria, and an artillery in Sudan.

I’m not posting this to brag but just to show you I was in a similar pickle. Sometimes our worst enemy is our own selves.

Thanks, Cyanight. You make excellent points  No question I did blow my top there somewhat. It’s pretty cool that you were able to defeat a guy of Mr. Roboto’s skill level even after losing in France G1.

Interestingly, we both pursued almost the exact same attack plan with Germany.  I would note, however, that all my battles were pretty much disasters:  I got wiped out in S France, too, and didn’t take it, either; I got wiped out in sz 106 and still left UK with a transport, and I took a heavy beatin’ in sz 111 while hardly making a dent in the UK’s fleet. Throw that in with the complete debacle in France and I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry  :-D

Nonetheless, it’s poor form to quit like that.  The best way to learn how to deal with adversity is to actually play it out, because as you’ve noted, it can be done.  So your advice is well appreciated.  :-)

I think i am going to concede this one to you.  Moscow is going down and there is nothing I can do about it at this point.  Very good game.  If things weren’t so busy for me right now I would demand a rematch right away but I am afraid that will have to wait.

Thought about changing a couple of these, but might as well do the same setup. Just want to make sure it was the dice so bad and that i did ok…

Dice destroyed 2 of my main attacks, and china did nothing for me. Not even a slow down… so thought about a couple art in china, but ill do as we agreed upon.

sub sz 110, sub sz 98, sub sz 91, 1 infantry in alexandria, and mech inf in Egypt. for total of 25.
