      F*ck it.  I’m not positioned to make a desperation attack on Egypt.  I positioned myself believing that I wouldn’t get wiped out on that 88% odds battle while barely registering a single hit on you.

      I just got completely dice fcked in my game with SA, too.  Japan again.  Major sea battle, come in with half my navy, first round of combat, 0 hits.  Unfckingbelievable.   Land battle, coming in with 13 units, 1st round 0 hits, 2nd round 0 hits.  Minor naval battles, he hits with every unit, my air force gone.  Game over in round three.

      I think I need a break from this game for a while.  I still have a few games to get over with.  I actually kind of hope I get diced in all of them so I can surrender, and take a complete break for a bit.  Don’t know why I play this game sometimes.

      Yeah, the dice are a bitch sometimes.  I’ve taken brakes before because of them.

      I’m getting killed by dice in a game against BSD, again.  Really disheartening.

      But I always come back….  :lol:

      FYI, you are right, this was a tight game.  I was worried you might get me this time.  The dice saved my bacon.  :-P

      Good game.

      I need a break from this game for a while.  We’re on vacation as of Friday; no point continuing with this.  I’m going to try to quickly finish up my other games as best I can and then focus on my other hobby for a bit.

      Even in this game, I think our luck came close to evening out but I was lucky when it mattered more (G1 and then that last battle for Normandy).

      I know what you mean.  During that one round I had about 8 battles with Germany.  The first 7 I won without taking a single casualty.  I couldn’t believe my good fortune.  Then Normandy came along and I had terrible luck.  It was such a pivotal battle, though, that the game was over pretty much over right there.  Oh well.  :lol:

      Most of the board do not cover actual gaps the allied navies had to face. For example, while Germany has submarines in the correct sea zones at the start of turn 1, the actual Bomber Gap which is a famous gap between UK and US where U-boats operated because allied fighters needed carriers in order to operate in this area is not actually covered in the game.

      GG.  Its funny they call it BM because I think it tips the favor back to the allies.  But its not as much of an advantage as the axis have in the regular version.  I dont like the spawning Chinese troops and I think there are one too many med objectives for the allies, but other than that its pretty good.  Let me know when you are  ready for a rematch.  Have a good one!

      To add to the above, the transport can only still load IF it is used on the same turn to make an amphibious attack. If it isn’t being used to make an amphibious attack, then it can’t load those troops until the non-combat phase - but at that point it’s already taken part in the combat against the sub and so can’t be used again.

      Are your sure about this one?
      A defenseless Transport which make no move and no loading in Combat Move phase cannot be use in Non-Combat Move if there was a naval battle in the same SZ.

      It is like throwing a UK’s Battleship amongst Japanese TPs before DOW.
      Japan DOW on its turn but cannot load IJN TPs, but still may move them outside the embattled SZ in Combat Move Phase and can load and unload land units if it there is some in another friendly SZ during Combat Move Phase.

      So, such empty TPs are totally neutralized if they stayed in the hostile SZ, even it becomes friendly after battle?
