G1 on Russia! Unfortunately dice in E. Poland were somewhat rough for him but the perfect drive-by through Yugoslavia should salve that wound a little.
UK obliterated the Italian navy at Taranto (excellent choice given the G1 into Russia), Regia Marina hit back some, but is certainly living on borrowed time

It’s certainly got a bit of a learning curve. I have tried to play it over the board with @mikawagunichi and @Daaras and it was quite difficult to manage.
I would love a passion project where they take the islands split sea zones idea and put it on the regular Global map. Big World does this quite well but doesn’t have air & naval bases (air bases or some sort of scrambling rule is a must , to me)

Stu and I have tried your adjusted setup twice, switching sides. The Allies are cruising to victory on both occasions, but we are normies. You might want to invite someone big to do an exhibition game against you and your setup.
An exhibition match between a couple Titans of the OOB game would be rather interesting to see!

Hey wanted to inform you of this and allow you to change UK NCM -
French Territorial Control: […] "Vichy French territory operates the same way as other Pro-Axis Neutral territory[…] Fly-over restrictions applicable to other Neutral territories do not apply to Vichy French territory. "
My tactical bomber in Rome can hit Iraq and switches the combat from 6% attacker to 95% attacker. Figured you would probably not stand your ground in such a case, let me know if you would like to edit!

We played Allies all three games and had a ton of fun. Looking forward to the next tournament!
- Game 1 we played against Panzercraft (they won the tournament). They took Axis at +10 and bid a fighter to attack the Indian Ocean fleet in 39. Round 1 of battle they had four @3s and one @4 and rolled all misses. Then the final battle on Italy’s turn came down to a 55-45 chance battle in Spain…and I rolled all misses round 2 to defend. We had a tiebreak loss at 125 IPCs - an epic game! (about 9.5 hours all said and done)
- Game 2 & Game 3 were a lot of fun. Game 3 we did a VC defense of Sydney and India in case they tried to win with 6 in the Pacific. We bought 4 bombers with Russia round 5 but these games both only went 5 rounds so they didn’t get used which was too bad haha
We really think having a set 6-round game and then doing the chess clocks to keep both teams honest on using too much time would be really good for the competitiveness of the game. Not knowing for sure if the game is going to go 5 or 6 rounds (or 7 if you’re playing fast? is that possible!) I thought made it really hard to plan as you need to know for your round 2 buys with a lot of powers especially USA.
What do you think about this?
