their newest album is a little less country, but it’s just 100% pure genius. there are a few tracks which are just amazing (especially 1 and 5) i strongly reccomend that you buy it

Kid A is very good, but for radiohead i prefer the Ok computer and the bends albums. i hear their new album coming out will be alot like the bends, so i’m happy about that. to tell you the truth, i’ve never heard any songs from summerteeth, as i am a new wilco convert, but i have $50 worth of gift certificates to Tower records (our CD store chain in northern VA) from christmas and my confirmation, so i might buy summerteeth or one of the mermaid sessions from wilco next time i stop by Tower records

if japan can just keep the aussies under wrap while delaying the ameicans w/ subs, they have a good chance of winning w/ the VP win. the 2 turns before america attacks you just build all infantry, so you’ll have about 20 -25 infantry there to defend japan along with all your subs defending the sea of japan which might take out a tranny or two

diplomacy is a great game… i love being the the corner nations (UK and turkey) b/c they are easy to defend, and if you make the right alliances you can pull out a victory easily with one of those 2. germany is also an intersting country, b/c there are so many different choices you can make to who you can be allied to. unfortunately, in one of my last games EVERYBODY teamed up on germnay (except for turkey and italy, but theres not much they could do to help) and i was crushed :(

thats too bad… but if someday you just walk over to the local CD store in L.A, remember to pick up some CD’s… “the bends” by radiohead, “ok computer” by radiohead (rated 4th best album OF ALL TIME BY ANY BAND by rolling stone) and “yankee hotel foxtrot” by wilco, which is in my opinion by far the best album of 2002.

remember, you have to protect manchuria as well, so try to put as many infantry there as possible, and land your fighters there as well (isn;t manchuria where you have the IC?) maybe put 1 man in kwantung so he can’t just walk into it from china

next time i play pacific, i think i’m gonna use a new strategy. w/ the aussies i’m gonna build an aircraft carrier, and give the extra 12$ to india and they will but 3 tanks and 4 men to prepare for an offensive in asia…
second turn w/ india i build all infantry, and w/ the aussies i’ll build transports to take my men on the mainland to take back some IPC rich islands

i wouldn’t, if i get paid no matter what i do. let me ask you this. if right now, your boss told you that you could leave right now and go home, and you would still get paid the same amount, what would you do?!!? would you still sit in your cubicle wishing you were at home w/ your wife and kids? or would you go home and do nothing and still get paid? this is the way i think of communism. if i get paid no matter how much work i do, then i definitely won’t work!! it doesn’t take an idiot to figure that out
